The host was amazing, the location equally so. The amenities in the apartment (kitchen, laundry etc.) we did not use but were all there and ready to be used to make for a comfortable stay. And if you have a chance to meet the neighbours across the way they are an incredible kind older couple, which goes to the location, take advantage of staying in a neighbourhood, it makes the stay that much more memorable.

Apartment was very clean, close to restaurants, supermarket and tram line. Safe area. Communication with the owner was fast and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Lots of potential with this place but we had significant internet, heating, electrical and shower leak problems. We made the owners aware of the issues and they did nothing. Other VRBO reviews for this place are good, but if you look on a different popular booking site, you’ll see the same complaints over and over going back to 2024. Positives? Nice linens and towels, good location and a comfortable living/dining space.

This apartment is spacious and very well equipped. It was in the perfect location for a wedding we had been invited to.Take an easy walk to the city centre or waterfront. There are plenty of tiny tavernas and shops along the street too. The location is on a steep hill, but most of Alfama is built on a hill. The airport is an easy taxi ride away and with access to the metro stations nearby, trips further afield are very easy.I would definitely book this again. The host is responsive and helpful.

Located in a perfect spot, the apartment was very convenient. Nice to have elevator to help with luggage. Noise from school was not a problem for us. Fun to see the kids and families gather in plaza across the street! The apartment is centrally located, very close to restaurants. We walked most places. The kitchen is fully furnished. Everything modern.

WARNING- DO NOT STAY HERE!Our stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.At check-in (4:00 PM), the keys were not in the lockbox as instructed. After contacting the host, we were told the cleaners would hand us the keys as they were leaving. However, the cleaners had not even arrived, and the unit had not been cleaned. After traveling all day, we were exhausted and left standing outside with all our luggage for nearly two hours.While the host was initially responsive, communication became very slow as soon as problems arose.When we were finally let inside, the unit was in unacceptable condition: a flipped-over bed, stains on the couches, and no electricity. We eventually got the power restored, and to their credit, the cleaners were very kind and did a thorough job once they arrived.Unfortunately, the air conditioning never worked for the entire stay, apparently due to the power issue, and the hosts showed little urgency in fixing it.Overall, this was a frustrating and stressful experience caused by poor preparation and lack of responsiveness. I would not recommend staying here.

The apartment is ok, but far from the luxury promised in the description. For starters the shower on the main floor is a stand alone unit that looks fancy, but the lights were missing and there was alot of corrosion on the unit and the toilet seat is broken. The bedrooms were all functional but there were no blankets in any of the rooms, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The 3rd bedroom is set as an office and you need to climb a steep ladder to access the lift where the bed is. There were no sheets left for that bed at all, but we found an extra set in the downstairs bedroom. The kitchen was functional, but a big dent on the front of the fridge and the pod coffee maker was missing the tray so was unusable. There was a built in expresso machine that worked. We found dead cockroaches on the floor in both the bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, which made us start looking more closely. More were found in the cabinet that conceals the hot water tank. When we reported to the management company they apologized and advised that the apartme.t had been sprayed before our arrival. They were not at all concerned.Finally we had let them know we were arriving by car and they had recommended a couple parking lots near by. Unfortunately they did not tell us that the street the apartment is on does not allow vehicles except buses & taxis. We wasted almost an hour trying to figure out how to get on the street.

The flat location is absolutely amazing!! Surrounded by markets and restaurants and just down from the Fado Museum and short walking distance to tons of stuff. The flat itself was nice, however, we had some issues. We had zero heat while there for 4 nights. There were four remote controls for mini splits that didn’t work anything and in fact the name on the remotes had nothing to do with the units. When contacting the host they kept asking for pictures of the units and remotes and I was like sorry we are not there and won’t be back until evening. I was told someone would be dispatched and was assured they had come but the remotes were not moved and then I was told they had not heard from the maintenance company. Then the shower started leaking from under the pan not just a little like the entire drain separated. The 2nd floor small bedroom has no windows or split so no air in there if you’re going for summer. The carpet in the living room was stained so bad not sure why they don’t just toss it lol. There was also no instructions on where to take trash etc. Anyways, besides this we would definitely stay there again as the location is so amazing, you truly experience Lisbon in the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon.

As advertised. Very clean, modern updates, comfortable beds and central location. Great responsiveness from the host. Note that if you use the clothes washer you need to bring your own detergent.

notre réservation a été annulée par le propriétaire à 11:00 heure le matin de notre arrivée. Le propriétaire ne nous a offert aucune aide.Expérience très stressante, on a du se rabattre sur un hébergement beaucoup moins intéressant dans l'urgence et la qualité de notre séjour en a souffert.VRBO a communiqué avec nous le lendemain seulement pour nous offrir des alternatives mais c'était trop tard. VRBO ne nous a été d'aucune aide et ne nous a offert aucune compensation; c'est totalement inacceptable.
