Please leave the place in clean condition for next group. Wipe countertops, run dishwasher, sweep & vacuum crumbs, & squirt some toilet bowl cleaner around the rim.
Please put key back for next guest.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Cigarette smoking is prohibited in the house. Smoking is permitted on the deck & sand buckets are provided for safe cigarette butt disposal. Thanks!

Wonderful property, great host, steps to Slaughter Beach, walked to view beautiful sunrises on the beach and watched gorgeous sunsets from screened in porch to the west. We planned our trip to coincide with the Horseshoe Crab migration and were not disappointed! Saw hundreds of crabs and shore birds on the tranquil beach. Would highly recommend for those wanting a quiet getaway.

We had an amazing 3 night stay. The house is spacious with lots of conveniences like the screened in porch! The location is extremely quiet so you can start mornings with a stroll in the beach and then make your way to Rehoboth/Lewes for the day. We loved it!

I brought my wife, 2 year old daughter, and my parents for a wonderful weekend trip to the ocean. Check in was a breeze and Carolyn was a wonderful host. The nearby beach was a quiet, secluded retreat from more crowded/commercialized areas. The local park/playground was wonderful for our daughter to play on. We would definitely stay again.

We came for a long weekend and had to leave early due to tropical storm. However, the owners answered all our concerns. The house was clean and easy to get to. It is across the street from the beach and my son had fun surf fishing.

This was a great place to relax. It was very clean, quiet and spacious. There was also a screened in porch that was great to have your morning coffee on and also to unwind at night. Carolyn was great, easy to communicate with and very kind. You will love it here. Great for families or just you and your spouse for a quiet getaway. Amazing house and location!

We were looking for a place that wasn’t too far from the big beaches, but was a bit mellower - and this did not disappoint! My three kids and husband and myself loved the proximity to slaughter beach. We did walks in the morning and at night exploring the shells and horseshoe crabs. The house was super clean. My favorite room was the screened in porch where I would have a lovely cup of tea in the morning and watch the sunset with a glass of wine at night!

Great location! Short walk to beach, next to community tennis court and playground. Nice beach decor, spacious, open floor plan, very relaxing property. Good communication with the owner. Would definitely rent again.

Gorgeous sunsets & being 100 steps to the dog friendly beach. Lots & lots of nature & wildlife. So many species of birds. Fox sits in front of house on many nights. Minimal traffic so very quiet. No drama just the sun & the stars.

What makes this property unique

Very quiet, no traffic. Drive 30 minutes to shopping outlets, resort areas with amusements, boardwalk, seashore type attractions, sports complex, casinos at Harrington Raceway at the Harrington Racetrack.
