Hi, I’m your host—and while I may be a modern traveler at heart, I’m very much an old soul. I have a deep love for ‘80s RnB music—think Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

I believe hospitality is more than just clean sheets and good Wi-Fi, it’s about connection, warmth, and creating spaces that feel like home. I’ve got a quirky little talent for assembling furniture (yes, even the tricky flat-pack ones without instructions!). I enjoy putting things together, both literally and in life, and that includes creating memorable stays for the people I host. Every detail in the retreat has been thoughtfully arranged to offer peace, relaxation, and a touch of personality.

What I love most about hosting is the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world, each with their own unique story and reason for visiting the beautiful island of Jamaica. Whether it's a couple celebrating an anniversary or a family reconnecting with their roots, every guest brings something special. I truly enjoy when I get to hear what drew them to Jamaica. It could be the food, the music or the culture, but often it's something deeper or simply the magic this island has to offer. Getting to be even a small part of their journey is something I genuinely cherish. When deciding where to establish Mango Retreat, we knew we wanted a location that offered the perfect blend of tranquility, security, and convenience—a place where guests could truly feel at home while enjoying the best of Montego Bay. Mango Walk Country Club stood out immediately.

This choice was also deeply personal—my mum was born in St. James, so this area holds a special place in our hearts. It felt only right to create a welcoming space here that reflects the warmth and heritage of the parish, while offering a comfortable haven for visitors from around the world.

Nestled in the hills above the city, Mango Walk is a gated residential community known for its peaceful surroundings and elevated views. The area provides a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown, yet it’s only a 5- to 10-minute drive to Montego Bay’s main attractions—including the Hip Strip, Doctor’s Cave Beach, Sangster International Airport, and major shopping centres.
