Casa del Sol is a beautifully restored 19th-century farmhouse located just a ten-minute drive from the charming town of Alaior in Menorca, known for its artisanal shops and the renowned Mahon cheese factory. Ideally situated between the north and south coasts, the property provides quick access to several beaches and to the capital town of Mahón, all within fifteen minutes by car—please note that a vehicle is essential for your stay.



The estate, also referred to as Es Llogaret, retains its original Menorcan character while offering modern comforts. Surrounded by serene countryside, it overlooks the historic Torre d'en Gaumés site and features inviting outdoor spaces including a pergola-shaded dining area, a traditional stone barbecue, a dedicated play area for children with a small basketball court, a shallow pool, and a private 1,500-metre walking trail around the grounds.



Inside, the decor is true to Menorcan heritage, with a tasteful blend of antique furnishings and bright textiles. The ground floor comprises a welcoming entrance hall, spacious lounge and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and four bedrooms—two doubles (one with en-suite), and two twins (one with en-suite and wheelchair access), along with an additional full bathroom and a shower room. Upstairs you’ll find two more bedrooms—one double and one twin—a shower room, and a study, making Casa del Sol ideal for larger families or groups seeking both comfort and authenticity.



Included in your stay are bed linen and towels (changed every 10 days), final cleaning, internet access, and covered parking. Optional extras are available to enhance your comfort, such as a baby high chair (€50 per booking), cot (€5 per night), bed guard (€2.15 per night), fans (€2 per night), food pack (€50 per booking), maid service (€25 per hour), pool towels (€2 per night), and pet accommodation (€100 per booking). The property is pet-friendly, except for dangerous breeds, and has been adapted for disabled access. A refundable security deposit of €500 is required via credit card hold, taken with the final payment.
