The apartment itself was fine and was as described. I contacted the company a week before to be advised that the pool was unavailable. The company did provide an alternative pool. Unfortunately, the alternative pool did not provide a suitable replacement for the pool that was advertised with the accommodation.The alternative pool was approximately 250 metres away and required crossing a very busy road. It was also not private, as it was overlooked by a restaurant, and there were no toilet facilities available at the pool.This was particularly problematic for us as we were travelling with two children, aged 13 and 9. Our 9-year-old has specific dietary requirements and, as a result, needs quick and reliable access to toilet facilities. The lack of toilet facilities at the alternative pool meant that it wasn't practical for us to use it in the way we had expected to use the pool at the accommodation.My biggest concern, however, was the way the loss of the pool was handled. We were informed that the pool had been unavailable since April. We had paid a deposit in January and subsequently paid the full balance on 1 June, yet we were not informed that the pool was no longer available before making the final payment.Had we been told about this before the balance was due, we would have had the opportunity to reconsider the booking and would have cancelled and made alternative arrangements. Instead, we only became aware of the situation ourselves after checking the booking.

We also appreciate you acknowledging that, following the pool’s unavailability, an alternative pool was provided so that you could still have access to a swimming pool during your stay. We understand that the alternative pool did not provide exactly the same experience as the pool originally advertised with the accommodation. The alternative was offered as a solution to allow guests to continue enjoying access to a swimming pool, although we recognise that its location and facilities were different from those available at the property. Regarding the communication about the pool, we understand your point of view and appreciate your feedback. Situations involving shared facilities and maintenance can sometimes change, and we always aim to provide our guests with the information and alternatives available to us as soon as possible. We value your comments, as they allow us to review our communication procedures and identify areas where we can continue to improve the guest experience. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, was natürlich auch daran lag, das wir im Oktober 10 Tage bestes Strandwetter mit 25 -29C hatten. Das Apartment ist sehr großzügig und top ausgestattet, inkl. einer neuwertigen Waschmaschine. Es gab ein Start Set mit einer Wasserflasche, Instant Kaffee, Tee, Gewürzen, 1x Spülmaschinentab, 1x Waschmittel, Spülmittel, ein neues Spültuch ... Das Apartment war top sauber. Natürlich sieht man hier und da, dass es schon etwas älter ist, was aber nicht unangenehm war. Einzig der Fußboden sollte an 2-3 Stellen repariert werden. Hier lösen sich Holzleisten, was bei barfuß laufen Verletzungen an den Füßen erzeugen kann. Der Pool mit Grünanlage ist ebenfalls gepflegt und wird regelmäßig gewartet bzw. gereinigt. Das Apartment hat einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Pool und die Gartenanlage. Positiv ist auch die Parksituation zu erwähnen. Zur Anlage gehören Parkflächen, wo immer ein Platz zu finden war. Der Ort Albufeira ist kein Highlight. Im Umfeld (10-20 Autominuten) sind aber sehr schöne und saubere Strände zu finden.

O apartamento é muito bom, numa zona sossegada, mas ao mesmo tempo perto de tudo. O espaço das piscinas é muito agradável, só tenho a lamentar o fato de uma boa parte das espreguiçadeiras estarem danificadas, sendo impossível o seu uso.
