Welcome to Casa Violeta, a colorful beachfront home in the heart of Punta Uva, just steps from Arrecife Beach — one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. This authentic Caribbean house offers 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, blending rustic charm with modern comfort, and can host up to 7 guests.



The master suite sits in its own private bungalow with a king-size bed, A/C, and ensuite bathroom, plus a small outdoor sitting area for morning coffee. On the ground floor of the main house, you’ll find a double bedroom with private bath and fan cooling. Upstairs, a spacious family-style bedroom with one double and one twin bed features A/C and its own private bathroom — perfect for kids or groups.



At the center of the house is a fully equipped kitchen with a wide pass-through window connecting directly to the covered outdoor dining room overlooking the garden. An open-air living room with cozy seating invites you to relax, play games, or enjoy evening drinks while listening to the sounds of the jungle. Outside, you’ll also find a BBQ grill for casual meals at home.

Good place near beach. Across from busy restaurant but not too noisy. Easy acces to beach and you can take advantage of the restaurant to serve you on the beach.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful Caribbean style property across the street from the beach. The master bedroom bungalow and upstairs bedrooms have AC and we had no issues with the bedroom without as it stayed cool with the provided fans. Property has all the basic amenities and is very comfortable. Easy drive to Playa Cocles and Puerto Viejo for groceries etc. I would definitely recommend!

First Time In The Caribbean

Booked our stay a little last minute, 2 months out and had the best time! June is said to be the rainy season and while it rained a little in the morning and had thunderstorms at times, we were able to spend every day at the beach, our teenager took surf lessons from Dougles at Cocles and even came to us the next day for more lessons. We highly recommend him. Everyone was so friendly and the neighborhood cat was a hit with our teen as well! The restaurant across the way has the best people. The house was perfect. We bbq'd a couple nights, laid in the hammock reading, played cards around the table enjoying drinks and loved listening to the rain at night. We saw so much and did so much, we can not wait to come back and do even more! Thank you for sharing your rental with us!

La ubicación es excelente, justo al frente de la playa mas hermosa de Costa Rica, Punta Uva. La casa es sencilla, pero todo es limpio y la cocina bien equipada. Nos gustó mucho que cuenta con 3 baños completos. La comunicación con los encargados es agradable y fluida. La cantidad de sillas en el comedor es limitada. Podrían agregar a futuro aire acondicionado en el cuarto de abajo para satisfacción de todos.

Nos encantó la ubicación de la casa, tenemos a unos pasos la playa y un restaurante, la calle es tranquila y el ambiente también. Fuimos con niños y la pasaron genial. Tiene equipo en general para cocinar en la casa. También los A/C en excelente estado Se que es un tema de la naturaleza, pero ojalá tener algún repelente de mosquitos y un microondas sería buenísimo.

La casa está súper bien ubicada a 100 metros de la playa. Tiene un restaurante/bar a frente que por suerte cierra temprano en la noche. En la casa hay de todo para cocinar. Tiene una terraza fabulosa para comer o estar afuera. Lo que es buenísimo, la máquina expendedora de agua filtrada en la cocina La mejor habitación es la casita separada con AC. Tiene una buena cama, buen bañó y es muy espaciosa. Arriba en la casa hace mucho calor, se podría poner cedaso en las otras ventanas para tener mejor flujo de aire. La habitación abajo es demasiado pequeña y caliente para dos personas.

The house was very nice, with great putdoor living space and literally right next to the smazing Playa Arrecife Only 1 bedroom has AC, and it is the detached studio. The largest bedroom on the top floor was very hot and as their was no mosquito net for yhe beds and no screens on one set of windows, we didn't feel comfortable leaving both windows open at night, which would of helped with a cross breeze

La ubicación esta increíble, los espacios súper buenos Los baños necesitan mejoramiento, como también la cocina y sus utensilios. Nos pedían no rayar los sartenes pero los sartenes estaban completamente viejos. Durante las lluvias es imposible mantener limpio por la entrada al cuarto principal no tiene piedras, o cemento entonces todos se llena de lodo.

La ubicación es excelente, la casa es grande y con casi todo lo necesario, el servicio por parte de los encargados es excelente de igual manera. Seria bueno agregar un microondas aunque sea pequeño y revisar los electrodoméstico, en nuestro caso la olla arrocera no tenia la tapa. Algo muy muy importante mejorar la limpieza de los baños, la casa estaba muy bien pero los baños estaban un poco sucios, seria bueno que invirtieran un poco en modernizar las cosas en los baños (cambiar llaves e inodoros) También es importante mejorar el servicio de Internet ya que es pésimo y es algo que el cliente requiere en estos tiempos.
