The Space:

Tucked away in a private field and surrounded by nature’s finest rivers, trees, and wildlife, Dipple Farm Shepherds Hut offers a truly unique and tranquil getaway. This charming retreat is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of rural Devon.



Just a five-minute walk through the on-site woodland brings you to the river – ideal for a refreshing dip, a quiet moment of birdwatching, or simply soaking up the serenity. The entire site is blissfully remote, offering uninterrupted calm and a real sense of escape.



Back at the hut, cosy up beside a crackling fire or sit outdoors and enjoy the sights and sounds of the countryside. You’ll spot sheep, cows, and horses grazing in the surrounding fields, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of otters in the river, owls in flight, or deer wandering through at dusk.



When night falls, gaze up at the star-filled sky – a breathtaking display unspoiled by city lights. What's more, Dipple Farm Shepherds Hut also has fishing rights on the river Torridge that runs through the private land - a nice feature.

There is also access to a fenced four-acre field, free to access to any guests staying at Dipple Farm Shepherds Hut. There is also access to a further 15 acres of flower meadow, rivers and woodland. This is ideal for letting your dog run around.



Guest Access:

Please note this property currently has no hot water, as the boiler requires replacement. There are showers are available on site, approximately a 2-minute walk from the hut. Due to this, please note that the property has been discounted by 15% and no further discounts will be applied.



Guests have access to the full Shepherds Hut.



The keys to Dipple Farm Shepherds Hut are accessed via a key safe box. Further details will be provided prior to check-in.



Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle.



Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Dipple Farm Shepherd's Hut per reservation.

The nearest train station to Woolfardisworthy is Barnstaple. From Barnstaple, you can take a bus to Woolfardisworthy. Barnstaple Train Station has direct services operating to locations across Devon including Crediton and Exeter.
