Just a 2-minute walk from Veli Losinj’s pretty harbour, this apartment is the ideal base for a relaxed holiday on the unspoiled island of Losinj. The ground-floor studio sleeps 2 and is well-equipped for a comfortable stay.

The residence is built in an attractive, Mediterranean style, but the interiors are contemporary. There is a double bed with open hanging space for storage. Next to this, guests will find a small dining table for 2 and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

A glass door leads from the kitchenette to a terrace, where guests can enjoy their quiet surroundings, seated at the café-style table and chairs. The larger, shared garden includes an outdoor kitchen and dining area.

Location
The apartment is well-located in the lovely town of Veli Losinj. The brightly coloured buildings that line the harbour offer excellent restaurants and cafés. Guests can explore the town easily on foot. Visitors can discover the beautiful beaches and bays thanks to the hiking and cycling paths close by. For added health benefits, due to its special microclimate, Veli Lošinj is known as a medical retreat to cure pulmonary disease.

The larger town of Mali Losinj (12 minutes) makes a wonderful day trip, with its Renaissance palaces and busy harbour.

For self-catering, there is a grocery store in Veli Losinj, and supermarkets in Mali Losinj. There is a small daily market in Mali Losinj and an excellent fish market where you can purchase the freshest fish to cook at home.

The island of Losinj remains unspoiled by development and there are plenty of adventures to be had. There are several watersports schools on the island where visitors can learn to sail, windsurf or surf, and the pristine sea means that there is excellent visibility for snorkelling and scuba diving. Away from the water, you can parachute, rock climb and take a cycle tour through unspoiled countryside.

Rijeka Airport is the nearest airport, reached via a ferry (2 hours 30 minutes) or Pula Airport (3 hours 11 minutes) also via a ferry. There is also a convenient connection with Zadar airport via fast boat during the summer season.
