With approximately 1,450 square feet of living space, this comfortable 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom first-floor condo offers beautiful views of the Gulf from the master bedroom, the living area, and large patio. This condo is furnished to sleep 6 and is perfect for your next beach getaway! Relax and enjoy the large patio with a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.

The open living area has updated furniture and a private patio to enjoy the beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. The Master Bedroom comes with a King bed and a private full bathroom. The Guest Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed and a full bathroom. There is also a queen sofa sleeper in the living room and a twin sleeper chair in the Reading Library. A fully appointed kitchen includes granite countertops, an ice maker, a wine cooler, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer.

Condo perfect for small family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time staying at Martinique, but the first time we stayed in a condo. It was perfect for our family. We could walk straight from our living room or bedroom out to the patio, onto the grass, and be at the boardwalk within seconds, yet enjoy peace and quiet from the patio if desired. The view of the dunes in the wildlife refuge with the water in the distance was perfect. I enjoyed hearing the birds at dusk while I sat on the patio. We had a curtain rod broken and a slow draining shower in the master, but maintenance was there within minutes and fixed it. Never any problems with anything the entire stay. Everything was fresh, clean, and neat. The decor was nice with a touch of beach style accents. Everything we needed, or didn't need was supplied in the kitchen, and extra of towels and washcloths were supplied. We will definitely be a "three-peat!"

Reviewer Comments: I thought it was tasteful, comfortable, convenient and we'll equipped.The walk to the. Each was gentle but longer than I expected. Mosquitoes were terrible. I was just a tiny bit disappointed in the Clint’s since we had to check in very late and check out very early allegedly because of the Covid virus. The The condo was not what I was expecting as far as cleanliness since it was so much time taken away for us in order for it to be cleaned. The back porch really needed much attention. It was dirty and covered in spiderwebs and mini mini mosquitoes. It was also a smoke free Condo Ian’s campus but the linens or something inside the condo smelled of smoke. I’m not sure why if there is some sort of a draft from the breezeway or yard and it gets into the condo or if the linens are done off site where there are smokers. It was very faint. We loved the little sleeper sofa in the laundry area it was overall a wonderful experience.

This year was our third summer staying at Martinique, and our second summer in 105E. Everything was perfect as always. We brought friends this year who stayed next door in 106E, which was also great. Their air conditioner was broken when they arrived. They arrived late, so didn't notice until ~ 9 PM on Sunday night. They notified the front desk, and someone was out to repair it in less than 1 hour! They even followed up with a phone call the next morning to be sure all was well. Spectacular service.

Best Kept Secret on the Gulf

Our family has been coming to the area for 7 years now and we will never stay anywhere but Martinique from now on! The unit was lovely, very clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. We particularly loved the fact that the beach felt secluded and not crowded since it is next to the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge. We will definitely return to this beautiful beach community in the years to come!

overall nice, but need some technology/appliance fixes

The Martinique property as a whole is kind of far, but with that you get privacy. We ran into a few issues in this condo with appliances: we had to contact the management company to come fix the On button of the dryer; it took me 3-4 times washing one load of dishes to get the soap dispenser in the dish washer to work properly (including having to stick my fingers in some gunk at the bottom to clear something out. Made me wonder just how clear our dishes were to begin with), a DVD was stuck on the master bedroom DVD player. I managed to get it out by unplugging the player from the wall. The TV was stuck on CNN and the remote wouldn't work to change it. My husband had to buy a universal remote, program it to that TV for us to use that TV. There were no batteries in a few of the TV remotes so we also had to furnish those (we took all these with us when we left). Lastly, the can opener malfunctions (which was not so awesome on Thanksgiving). Those kind of issues shouldn't happen for the price you pay to stay here. If they can get those issues fixed, we would stay in this condo again. The furniture was comfortable and cozy. One thing I advise though is typing up the WiFi information and placing it in a more visual spot for when people arrive. We had to hunt for it.
