Lakeview Mountain Retreat

Those Views! From the comfort and privacy of your own deck, you can relax and enjoy the lake view and still have easy walking distance access to all that downtown McCall has to offer! I grew up in McCall Idaho, and now reside in nearby Boise. I am so happy to have created a mountain resort style space that offers all of the comforts of home, but with a spectacular view and unparalleled access. My family and I love recreating here and look forward to the opportunity of sharing our space, and experiences with you! This is not your average vacation rental...I am of the firm belief that when vacationing, one should not have to sacrifice on quality or quantities of the surroundings or amenities. Featuring Aveda bath and body products as well as high end linens, and Pottery Barn furnishings, this home is complete and ready to become your home away from home too! This is a mostly organic home, with full sized laundry soap, dish soap, tea, coffee, honey, olive oil, and everything else that you often find "lacking" in vacation rentals. Crock pot (check!), Sharp Japanese knives (check!), cutting boards (check!), dinner service for 8 (check!), Cast Iron enameled dutch oven (Check!), Pack and play (Check!), High chair, stroller, toddler dinnerware, and so much more! Professionally designed, well executed, and extreme attention to detail await your visit to our McCall home. The home is on the 3rd floor… sorry, no elevator. We do have A/C! Please feel free to contact me if there is something you are hoping for, not on this list...I can't list everything!

We had a wonderful time and fully enjoyed our stay. It was such a great place with a great vibe and we felt right at home! The hosts were super cool, very communicative, friendly and enthusiastic about us staying there and we felt very welcomed. The location was perfect, close to the lake and a nice easy walk into town. The accommodations were great, the beds were super comfortable and the home had a really nice presence to it. We played some of the provided board and card games and laughed so hard playing Apples to Apples! It was truly a perfect and much needed get away for us and we will definitely be back again and would highly recommend the Lakeview Mountain Retreat!

We had a great stay. The place is cute and nice to have a partial lake view. The light that comes through in the afternoon is so pretty. It was nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Lots of great extras were provided like beach towels and chairs, board games, etc.

This was our third stay at this dog-friendly condo for a McCall area ski trip. The condo is clean, spacious and well appointed with lovely lake views from the living room and master suite. The kitchen is well equipped (we cooked most of our meals for the week). The condo features ample storage for our ski clothes and gear. We love the king bed in the master suite and we slept like babies under the nice linens and duvet. Location is close to the lake and a short walk downtown, mule deer frequently wander around the yard. Alicia is a gracious host, responds very quickly to any communication and quickly answers any questions or concerns. The condo is on the third floor of the building, so be aware and pack accordingly. That said, we would absolutely stay here again.

I grew up in McCall Idaho, and attended both Idaho State University and Boise State University. I've made my home in Boise and own/operate a successful Real Estate firm. I have 3 children, currently ages 11, 14, and 16. My husband and I enjoy all that McCall has to offer and enjoy sharing our love of adventure and the outdoors with our kids and other families. We’ve looked for years for our perfect "McCall Place" and finally found it. We are excited to be sharing it with you!

Why they chose this property

After having looked at real estate in McCall for years, (and even selling a few homes there), my husband and I decided this was the right property for us. Proximity to the lake and downtown make it an easy, car free trip for us, allowing the kids to run down the beach or even downtown to grab fries and that's a true vacation for us! We also love being able to start the morning with a warm drink on the deck overlooking the lake and then go for a leisurely hike. Our family enjoys skiing, the wildlife, snowshoeing, and just relaxing at the beach. We still have family there, so that is always a bonus! On top of the location, this condo offered the "bones" that we needed for a comfortable, "high end" experience. The exterior could use a little work and we are working with the HOA on that one! But the inside is a truly warm and inviting oasis, just perfect for a little alpine lake town set in the mountains!

What makes this property unique

Location, Location, Location! Views, Views, Views! Walking distance to the lake, marina, Legacy Beach, Brown Park, Downtown, Ponderosa State Park, and Davis Beach! Yay! for me, a vacation home done right! I am so over staying in vacation homes that put me back into college level finishes and accoutrements! I need a real knife! and blender! and decent linens! It is, after all, a vacation!
