Stunning Gite with Private Pool and Large Garden

At Villa Marelle the large pool and terraces provide glorious sunshine or sleepy shade, as you want, when you want it. The cicadas will sing to you as you laze by the pool, or enjoy a cooling swim in the sparkling water. Dine out at a choice of 3 wonderful restaurants and wine bars, all within a short stroll of the gite. In the evening, after the sun goes down, enjoy a midnight swim or simply sit back and gaze at the star-filled sky, whilst enjoying a nightcap on the terrace.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please leave the BBQ clean. There is a wire brush in the old concrete BBQ to clean the wire rack. Ashes can go in the metal brazier in the far left corner of the garden.
Please ensure the oven is clean.
Please return kitchen equipment, utensils etc. to their original place, where possible, please.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful gite

The property was amazing, very comfortable and everything we required for a great stay. Ate in most nights (BBQ) as local restaurants only open Thurs to Sun. Lorraine was fantastic both before and during our stay. If you’re looking for a quiet, very peaceful holiday this is the ideal place.

Charming gite

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful gite. The house is full of charm & set in the most peaceful surroundings. Walked to local restaurants x 3 occasions which were excellent. Lorraine, host, & Tara, property manager, both were welcoming & attentive.We left feeling relaxed & refreshed!

My husband and I are from Scotland, currently living in Edinburgh. We have been lucky enough to have a place in the sun now for almost 20 years. The house has been a labour of love as it was in very bad and neglected condition when we took it on. We've kept it simple as we believe that reflects the house and its personality best.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the house even on paper, and then more when we got there, delapidated though it was. Neffies is a very buzzy village with a truly welcoming community, for French and us foreigners alike. We are lucky to call our French neighbours friends. Our 3 restaurants are the envy of many of our friends who don't live in our village. We are a short drive from the hub of much of the local activity in the classically French town of Pezenas, with its markets and wine festivals. So much going on there and in many of the other market towns around us.

What makes this property unique

We love the garden although it still has a long way to go to reach the vision in my mind. It was a big clean up and now we are putting it into some kind of shape again. There is a lot of space around the house, and while we have neighbours, we feel very private. We feel there is a sense of peace and calm in the house and the garden that we very much enjoy, and hope you will too.
