With private parking for two vehicles and direct access to the River Brathay, it’s perfectly placed for both relaxation and adventure. Step out of the front door and walk straight onto Loughrigg Fell, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views over Windermere.
The riverside garden, shared with a handful of neighbouring properties, is freely accessible and makes a delightful spot to picnic, read, or simply watch the water go by.
Clappersgate itself is just a short stroll from Ambleside town centre and the lakeshore, giving you the best of both worlds: peaceful surroundings with shops, restaurants and the bustle of town only minutes away.
