A unique position in the heart of the ancient and famously beautiful city of Ronda makes this stylish town house an exciting discovery that is within strolling distance of the historic sights, striking landmarks and atmospheric shops and restaurants that have made this southern Spanish city such a prominent and favoured destination in guidebooks of Andalucía.
Nestling just below the old city walls, the almost village-like quarter of San Francisco is home to typical streets of whitewashed homes, bedecked with flower-filled wrought iron balconies. At its hub is a cobbled square, bordered with houses, local shops and one of Ronda’s most atmospheric restaurants, just beyond which an ornate Moorish gateway leads the way through the walls up into the old part of the city.
It is in this charming and picturesque district, just 300m from the square, that San Nicasio is to be found. In a privileged setting at the end of a typical street, its lawned garden and pool look out to the east across the gently rolling countryside that surrounds the city, whilst the windows and balconies that line its other façade enjoy views across the multi-shaded terracotta rooftops.
Throughout the attractive interior, carefully planned design techniques and an imaginative, artistic flair come together to create a spacious and welcoming home. Light floods through the many patio and balcony doors that feature throughout both floors of the property to make this an ideal choice for those seeking a comfortable base in one of Andalucía’s most historic cities.
We mention for information only that the owner lives in a self-contained apartment below the guest accommodation. She does not use any of the house facilities and your privacy is completely assured at all times.
