About this property
The Nest at Severels - an annexe that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms
The Nest offers guests the rare opportunity to stay in part of a stunning and architecturally unique home designed by acclaimed architect Walter Greaves in 1980. This exceptional property is one of the few late 20th-century houses to have been awarded a prestigious Grade II* listing. The property has been very successfully hosted by Clare and David for 3 years, a local couple that have grown up in Chichester and who are on hand for any advice during your stay.
Set within 3.5 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, originally designed by RHS Wisley, the property enjoys enchanting views from every window. Guests are invited to wander the grounds, discovering hidden paths, a charming bridge over the water, and several peaceful seating areas, perfect for social gatherings or quiet moments of reflection. A fire pit and barbecue are also available for guests to enjoy.
The grounds also offer a few delightful extras, including use of a rowboat for exploring the Pagham Rife, a large trampoline and an attractive tennis court, badminton area, table tennis table and football goals… if ball sports are your interest!
Inside The Nest is styled with a touch of Scandinavian simplicity, providing a warm and comfortable retreat with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catered stay. The sitting area enjoys lovely views over the garden with plenty of comfortable seating and a Smart TV. The dining nook, tucked away with cosy bench seating, makes the perfect spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal or a delicious delivery from one of Chichester's many local restaurants.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a kettle, cafetiere, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, electric oven, and induction hob. Your hosts also leave a thoughtful welcome basket to get your stay off to a lovely start.
The ground floor includes a convenient shower room and washer dryer.
Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms, the main bedroom features a luxurious king-sized bed and a bath within the room, while the second bedroom offers twin beds nestled beneath dual-aspect windows framing picturesque views of the surrounding trees. Both rooms are filled with natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and include ample storage for your convenience.
The Nest at Severels is truly a special place to relax, unwind and make lasting memories.
