Well Cottage is a beautifully refurbished flint cottage offering stunning views across the marshes. Nestled in the heart of the charming village of Salthouse, the cottage provides a peaceful retreat while being within walking distance of local stores, a seafood café, and a wonderful local pub.

Sleeping 2-8 guests, this spacious, self-catering property is perfect for gathering family or friends for a Norfolk escape.

The welcoming living area features a cosy wood-burning fire, perfect for unwinding on plush sofas while enjoying a quiet evening in front of the TV. The interior is thoughtfully designed, blending modern comforts with rustic charm.

The large kitchen features full glass folding doors, seamlessly connecting the indoor space to the garden, perfect for summer stays. Guests are provided with a full range of amenities including a gas range cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and coffee machine and there is underfloor heating throughout. Adjacent is there is a comfortable dining area with banquette seating.

Outside, guests exit the folding doors on to a gravelled patio area which leads on to a large lawn. An outdoor seating area features a spacious wooden table and six comfortable chairs, offering breathtaking views over the marshes and out to sea. A barbecue is available, making it the perfect spot for alfresco dining and relaxing in the fresh coastal air. You can even enjoy a complimentary bottle of Prosecco as you dine!

The sleeping accommodation is spread across both floors which is ideal for those who may have mobility difficulties:

Ground Floor
Bedroom 3: Features twin beds. This bedroom is served by a ground floor bathroom with a shower.


First Floor
Bedroom 1: King-size bed and ample storage space. Amazing views towards the marshes.
Bedroom 2: King-size bed
Both first floor bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with a period style bath and overhead shower as well as complimentary toiletries. Towels and linens are also provided.
A travel cot can be provided upon request as well as a stair gate and highchair.

The property is not pet-friendly.
The gated entrance leads to a parking area for two cars.
A starter pack of logs, firelighters and kindling are provided upon arrival.
