There are many hiking trails and scenic cycling routes nearby, including one of Slovenia’s hidden gems, the Krajinski Park Lahinja (a 5-minute drive). The closest winery (Društvo vinogradnikov Črnomelj) is a 6-minute drive away.

The historic town of Crnomelj is also worth visiting (a 7-minute drive). This beautiful town is built around the confluence of the Lahinja and Doblicica rivers. Here, guests will find supermarkets, restaurants and smaller stores. Other popular excursions include a trip to the riverside town of Vinica (a 12-minute drive), where visitors will find opportunities for rafting and relaxing on river beaches, and Metlika Castle and Metlika Old Town (a 22-minute drive), a charming town with a historic centre and a good stop for wine tastings and traditional food.
