About Ren Anderson
Ren Anderson purchased this Cabin in 2017
Why Ren Anderson chose Townsend
After hundreds of visits to the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge, I wanted to rebuild a fire-destroyed house that had become an eyesore, directly at the exit of the NWR. Every trip out, I'd see the ruins and wish there was something better there. After speaking with many visitors to the NWR, and neighboring area, I felt a small overnight-to -weekly rental would work, and be a better asset to the community than the sad ruins. With the benefit of bordering the NWR front AND back !!, the site is perfect for a traveler who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle, if only for a night. For the wildlife lover or photographer, it is a perfect retreat, to cool down in the middle of a hot day, and rest up for the next photo or viewing session. For a weekend fisherman it is perfect to access the ramp and coastal waters.

The NWR is a great bike ride....all level ground. :) There are no motels on this exit, and hey, ya gotta stay somewhere. Take at least a hour out of your day to ride through the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge. If you are a wildlife lover or photographer, take a day or two. If you like saltwater fishing, or just want a cruise to the most amazing wild beaches on earth, the ramp is only a minute away, and plenty of parking for your boat. The tidal marshes of the Georgia coast are a marvel on this great Earth. This cabin sits across from the exit of the NWR, with a screened in back porch that abuts even more of the NWR. Deer, turkeys, and lots more of God's creatures to view from the dining table. WiFi and TV. Large bedroom with Queen size bed, plus great room with a fold out couch, kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink, dishwasher, china and flatware. Fresh linens furnished.
