Poplar Cottage is a Beautiful Newly Renovated 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom ranch, with walkout lower level, close to Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. This immaculate getaway is furnished with granite counter tops, and brand new appliances. It has an open concept floor plan to accommodate time with family and friends whether you are working in the kitchen, doing puzzles in the dinning room, or watching your favorite shows on TV. But if you want to 'get away', you can slip into the lower level where there is another living area equipped with a large screen TV, Foosball table, Ping-Pong, Air Hockey, laundry, full bath, and large bunk room. This area also walks out onto a back patio where you can build a bonfire or just relax in the shade. There is also a large deck with a large grill and outdoor seating off the main level for enjoying meals together. This area is also shaded for those hot summer days.

Poplar Cottage will accommodate sleeping for 10 people. Although suitable for any group, the extra 'bunk' room in the lower level with full bathroom make it a convenient retreat for a whole second family.

There are Kayaks, bikes, and Pack 'n Play available for rent upon request

There is also a complementary highchair if needed.

There is plenty of parking for all renters and for their toys too. Feel free to bring your own boat, jet-ski, trailer, kayak etc... Our parking can accommodate almost any size recreational vehicle.

Poplar Cottage is a short walk to Anchorage Marina and Yacht Basin, where you can rent or keep your own boat. There is also a very convenient DNR boat launch and parking less than a quarter mile away. Here you can put a kayak or paddle board in the water and enjoy! Poplar Cottage is also only a mile away from Holland State Park Beach. It is a short drive, or bike ride to one of the most beautiful beaches in Michigan. There is a surf shop with kitchen and public restrooms at the beach too. you can watch boats come in and out of the channel, or enjoy a fun day playing in the sand and surf.

You can stop at Mt. Pisgah on your way to the beach! It's a beautiful area with a stairway to amazing views of both Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan.

There are many venues close by which make Poplar Cottage a great location too! Many restaurants to choose from, along with a couple corner stores and ice cream shops to choose from. And don't forget Captain Sundae where you can get your ice cream and put put golf too! Bigger shopping areas and grocery stores are also within a short drive.

There is fishing within walking distance. Blake Lake Boardwalk is our favorite. There are also fishing charters very close by.
