Located along the banks of the River Severn, the friendly village of Blakeney has a friendly pub, a well-stocked local store, the ever-popular fish & chip shop and a post office. Keen cyclists can join the winding tracks and trails through the ancient oak woodlands and pine forests of the Forest of Dean, 8 miles away. Reconnect with the great outdoors by hiring a canoe from Symonds Yat (17 miles) to explore the Wye Valley or by visiting the Dean Heritage Centre (5 miles) with 5 acres of grounds to discover. Nestled in the lower reaches of the Wye Valley, the thriving market town of Monmouth can be reached within 16 miles. Other nearby attractions include Go Ape, Mallards Pike, Clearwell Caves, and Puzzlewood.

Perfectly blending rustic features, including exposed beams and oak-framed windows, with elegant contemporary touches, this lovingly restored former barn offers a wonderfully homely atmosphere. Centred around a large, bespoke kitchen island and featuring a sleek, sophisticated finish, this beautiful space will capture your imagination, inspiring you to prepare hearty breakfasts, perfect picnics, and delicious dinners with your new local flavours. The remaining part of this stunning space offers cosy seating and large windows, formerly the original barn doors, along with full-length windows that open onto the garden terrace – ideal for entertaining and outdoor dining. Adjoining this living area, you’ll find a cosy lounge brimming with rustic charm, showcasing gorgeous, exposed timbers that reflect the barn’s rich heritage. There’s also a handy utility room on this level.
