Welcome to this cozy, nature-close cottage in Uppsala, just outside Knutby. Surrounded by beautiful forest and set on a lush, green natural plot, this is the perfect place for relaxation, fresh air, and peaceful woodland walks. Here you’ll be neighbours with a tranquil forest and enjoy a large, leafy garden inviting play and recreation. The cottage welcomes you with an inner hall, a kitchen with a dining table, and an open-plan living area. The living room features a sofa bed for two people and access to a patio with outdoor furniture and a dog enclosure. The bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed. The bathroom includes a bathtub and a washing machine. On the property, you’ll find berries and plums in season, a lovely greenhouse, and play equipment for children. A walk in the forest may reward you with mushrooms and berries in season as well. Several lakes are nearby; the closest is Långsjön, known for its beautiful rocky shores and views. There are also more child-friendly lakes with sandy beaches in the area. Take a trip to Almunge and step back in time by riding the old railway with a steam locomotive into central Uppsala. The station building in Almunge also houses a charming café, as well as a flea market and an interior design shop—an ideal excursion. For hiking enthusiasts, the Upplandsleden trail runs beautifully along a lake nearby. If you’d like a change from the peaceful natural surroundings, central Uppsala is well worth a visit, with its lively streets, great food, and magnificent cathedral. A warm welcome!
