Sleeping up to 14 guests across six well-appointed bedrooms, it is designed for groups and families who want genuine space to come together — with a warm, contemporary feel, soft earthy tones and interiors that make settling in feel immediate and easy.
What sets Bayham Lodge apart is its rare combination of scale and comfort. An open-plan kitchen and dining room sits at the heart of every gathering, a separate snug and games room offers a quieter retreat, and the private enclosed garden — with pergola, firepit and sweeping field views — completes the picture. Whether you are here for a family celebration, a friends` weekend or a countryside escape, this is a home built to deliver it.

The living room is a generous, window-lined space with sofas for up to eight, a wood-burning stove, TV and sound system — made for long evenings in together. A separate snug and games room features an Xbox One, Xbox 360, games library and bean bags, making it a brilliant second space for teenagers or anyone wanting a quieter corner. Outside, the enclosed garden offers a pergola with string lighting, corner sofa, outdoor dining set and gas firepit. To the rear, the lawn opens to field views where deer, rabbits and birds of prey are regularly spotted at dawn.

Kitchen and dining: Open-plan kitchen and dining area with glazed doors to the patio and garden. Fully equipped with a Smeg gas range oven and six-burner hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, Nespresso machine, Ninja air fryer, wine glasses, cooking pans, barbecue utensils and all utensils. Dining table seats eight. Grocery deliveries available from Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury`s.
Laundry: Dedicated utility room with washing machine, sink and storage.
Bathrooms: Three and a half bathrooms in total.

Parking: Three spaces on the private gravel driveway, with further spaces in the adjoining close.
Access: Entry via lockbox at the front door. Ground floor has ramped access; all bedrooms are on the upper floor. Guests with specific accessibility needs are encouraged to contact the host before booking.
Location
Gill`s Green sits on the edge of Hawkhurst within the High Weald AONB — ancient woodland, rolling meadows and hop fields as far as the eye can see. Hawkhurst offers two supermarkets (Waitrose and Tesco), pubs, a pharmacy, independent shops and free parking. Cranbrook, a characterful Wealden market town with Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture, is five minutes by car, with independent shops, cafés, restaurants, The Queens Inn, Tudor Court and a working windmill.
Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest is nine minutes away, with mountain biking, walking trails and lakeside relaxation. Bewl Water reservoir offers boating and open-water swimming. Scotney Castle (National Trust) is fifteen minutes away. Rye and Camber Sands, and Royal Tunbridge Wells with its famous Pantiles, are both approximately twenty-two minutes by car.
A car is recommended. For those without one, Stagecoach South East serves Royal Tunbridge Wells (approximately 46 minutes) and the Arriva Kent and Surrey Route 5 connects to Staplehurst and Maidstone.

Booking policy
Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
Guests are not required to pay a damage deposit in advance. However, we reserve the right to charge up to two hundred pounds per stay to the card on file in the event of any damage.
Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
