a lovely country getaway

Linda's place was just as advertised - comfortable, clean, bright, and located in a beautiful forest within a short walk to the Haw River. We loved the privacy and natural surroundings. The house is integrated nicely into the environment, with a shaded, screened-in porch and open deck area just off the living room and master bedroom. We enjoyed being "away from it all," but close to little towns like Saxapahaw and White Cross for live music and great restaurants. It's also an easy drive to Chapel Hill and not far from the rest of the Triangle Area. Linda was super easy to communicate with and made it simple to check in and get oriented. Her kitties are a delight! Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay there and would absolutely stay there again. It's quite a treat.

I am so glad you enjoyed your stay here, Angela. I could not have asked for better residents either! You took such great care of my home and my kitties. I look forward to having you come and stay again. It was a pleasure to work with you and get to know you. Linda

Since retirement, I'm aspiring to become a world traveler and you can help me do it! I need someone who loves cats to care for my 2 sweet black kitties while I'm traveling. I've kept the pricing really low so that you can afford to be here, enjoy this wonderful home, and care for my kitties while I'm away.

Why they chose this property

If you like easy accessibility to this wonderful area of the country, a great university town, and lots of privacy and easy comfort, my home is for you! You'll be 7 miles outside of Chapel Hill and Carrboro and within easy drives of Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro. Smaller local towns of Hillsborough, Saxapahaw and Pittsboro are also great for exploring. You'll need a car for your transportation.

What makes this property unique

Peace and quiet retreat with all the basic amenities you'd expect -- nothing fancy - but very liveable and pleasant. House was newly built 15 years ago. Large back deck, outdoor swing and sitting area with walks along a wet weather creek and the Haw River. close by. Quiet, private, safe country living out in the woods. A great retreat!
