Grandma’s House was the perfect place for our stay in Chapel Hill! It was convenient, peaceful, and so relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed to feel right at home. We originally came to the area to drop our daughter off at Duke, and decided to try staying in Chapel Hill for a change. We’re so glad we did! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend Grandma’s House!

Peaceful and quiet sanctuary in the woods. Within minutes to UNC- Chapel Hill and only 20-30 minutes to Duke and the Mall. Jamie is a wonderful host and readily available if you need any assistance. She is friendly and helpful. Home is clean with a nicely furnished kitchen. Parking right near the home We will stay at Grandma's House again, if we ever return to Chapel Hill.

For two senior citizens this was perfect! Wooded area just minutes from our relatives’ home, quiet, full accommodations, and sweet treats. I’m guessing house is c. 1950 with eclectic decor. Only one bedroom had TV but not a problem for us. Our host was very good about responding to all questions. We plan to stay again next year if available.

The house is located at the end of a quiet street within walking distance of Parker Preserve. We enjoyed being able to go walking without having to drive. We saw lots of birds and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Parking is easy. There is a full kitchen and the host was very responsive. The chocolates on the pillows were sweet.Convenient to Carrboro and UNC-Chapel Hill.

Great wonderful place need # of building to make sure your at the right place.. It is the same color of the main house once park, follow walk way. Has a glass window beside the door. If someone is with you, and you go to bathroom. Remember to shut the door for you can see inside bathroom from outside. Your dogs will try and go through window. I will go again depending on who comes with me. Church friends worried about my heath. 30 minutes from Duke health. Hard to find restaurants.. Yet did not ask where they were and I could have.. Jamie and Joe, Host Wonderful host. Would enjoy spending time there to enjoy the lake. For I don’t know how many people would want to go for a Doctors appointment. Yet if i have to go back to Duke hospital.. I will send friends here from church. Again Thanks to Jamie and Joe..

This was a perfect house for our weekend visit with our UNC student granddaughter. The location was close to campus. We used it as our base station as we explored the areas for day trips and dining experiences.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at Grandma’s house while visiting UNC! It’s a beautiful place to stay, and the owners were wonderful!! If you are staying in Chapel Hill, I can’t recommend this Vrbo option high enough!!

The hosts were amazing. Jamie responded to every one of my crazy long texts and all my questions. We met Joe and he was also very nice. We had a visit at UNC Nerology and it was within about 10 minutes. She accommodated all our requests. The cottage was adorable, clean, and comfortable. Nice area. Very quiet. Grandma’s Cottage will be the only place we will stay for future appointments.

A wonderful small home for a quick get away! The property is beautiful and very private feeling. Very clean home just as we expected. Large kitchen - everything we needed to cook all our meals there. We will be back.

Came to visit friends, but now want to return just to hang out!

Our stay at Grandma's house was only for 1 night, but it was fantastic. We LOVED the setting in the woods. Super quiety and laid back. Very restful after a lot of driving. I only wish we could've stayed longer. :-)
