This new property is a great place to stay in The Big Easy! It is centrally located and walking distance to all of the action!! This property is updated with granite and stainless in the kitchen. Beautiful wood floors throughout the condo! There is one queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in living room. Enough to accommodate 4 people, however if you have an extra tag along we can provide an air mattress with some notice. Enjoy the balcony in the back and listen to the music of New Orleans streets!! The kitchen is fully stocked, but who really wants to eat in when you are in the Big Easy!!??

Was very accomadating!! The cable went out, but she was nice enough to let us use the apartment across the way to watch tv as no one was staying there. Loved the location as it was quiet, but close to things.
First timers in NOLA...the apt was the perfect spot and price!
The apt was a perfect spot for us, very quiet yet close enough to walk to all the tourist areas! The host/property manager was extremely helpful with suggestions and very quick in responding to any questions. We throughly enjoyed our stay and the apt was tidy and clean. The other building tenants were extremely helpful as well! My ONLY minor issue was the lack of curtains on a few of the windows. At night, it just felt like we were on display. With that being the only MINOR suggestion..this apt was honestly perfect for 2 of us!
I was in town with a co-worker for a conference and it was far enough from the hotel strips to get a real New Orleans experience, but also right by trolley that took us directly to the convention center. Plus the apartment is beautiful!
Cozy, quiet apartment
The apartment was cozy and quiet while still walking distance to everything! The place was clean and nicely decorated. The pull out couch is probably one of the more uncomfortable places I’ve ever sleep but with enough booze you won’t ever notice! I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it as well! It’s right above a popular coffee shop that’s perfect for a quick breakfast. Mary is also super responsive and helpful. Thanks for a great time!
Thanks for the review doll!! If u ever come back contact me prior....i have alot of other places too...all sizes!! ;)
Great location, nice price tag, responsive manager
Let's start with the positives. Loved the location! It was quiet, but still close to some of our favorites. Especially convenient for going to Frenchman Street. The condo was nice, with an updated kitchen & bathroom. The bathroom is small, but they tend to be in the Quarter. The place was a good size for 3 people; 2 in the bedroom, 1 on couch. The large balcony was a nice perk. There's a restaurant downstairs if you don't want to venture far for food. Check-in was easy. There's a code for the front door & keys were in the condo. Mary was great to deal with, answered questions quickly, & even showed us the unit across the hall during our stay.
There were some negatives, but this is a new rental, so a learning curve is expected. One set of balcony doors doesn't properly lock & when the wind picks up they rattle/slam into the building. We were up at 4:00 a.m. trying to secure them; had to tie them together with a phone charger. We pulled the sleeper sofa out once, & immediately put it back. The mattress is beyond flimsy, the frame feels bent, & the mattress pad was maybe a 1/4" thick and looked stained and old. The whole thing needs work. It poured all day our last day & the closet in the bathroom was leaking badly. The whole carpet was soaked, & there was a visible crack in the ceiling where it was coming in. We tried to stuff a towel in the crack, but a roach fell out, so we gave up, shut the closet, & I slept downstairs on the floor. We did report it, & Mary said they'd take care of it first thing in the morning. We were leaving before 9 that day, so hopefully it was addressed before the next rental. Some other minor things: If you stayed longer/had more than 3 people, you would need more towels. I didn't see bedding for the sleeper sofa. Wifi information wasn't listed in the unit; Mary did provide this information quickly, but it would be nice if it was there on arrival. We visit regularly, so we didn't need recommendations, but a lot of rentals leave a binder or folder full of pamphlets/suggestions; that could be nice. There were no check-out instructions other than what to do with the key. We did the dishes, but there were no instructions about garbage or towels/bedding, so we left it all as is. Information about check-out would be good.
Even with the snafus, we would stay again. Everything in the Quarter is old & needs work from time to time, & they seemed eager to address issues. Also interested in the new unit across the hall.
Great location and spacious
This was my first time using VRBO and Mary was a fantastic host. She responded incredibly quickly and was very accommodating about allowing us to check out later, which I really appreciated.
This rental was in a great location, very central in the French Quarter and it doesn't hurt that there's a cafe/coffee shop right below. Just a 5 minute walk from Cafe Du Monde and the French Market. The loft was beautiful and spacious but didn't work out for us perfectly, only because going from the bedroom to the bathroom using the spiral staircase after a few drinks was a bit scary. (We went during St. Patrick's Day weekend.) A couple things: the futon could use some work and the drapes were really delicate. Also, I found an ironing board but couldn't find an iron.
But there was a washer and dryer (and detergent), as well as a dishwasher, so that was great. And the balcony was a great place to relax.
All these are minor and I'd definitely rent from Mary again. She was an ideal host. Thank you!
