Lovely place with just about everything we needed. We didn't cook, but pans and utensils seemed adequate. Close to Bourbon Street area and the sights we wanted to visit. Just great!
Michael's cottage is well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. It can sleep four people comfortably, has a full kitchen, in-unit laundry, and tile flooring throughout. Michael allows dogs, and the fully fenced backyard is huge! The attached covered patio is great when it's cool out. My partner and I, as well as our two dogs, enjoyed staying here and treated it like our home for a week while waiting to close on our new home. Michael called me the day of check in to ensure I had found everything okay, recommend dining options in the area, and ask if we needed anything. Michael is a very communicative host, and ensured we had a good stay.I strongly recommend staying here!
The stay was fantastic! The owner was easy to reach, neighbors were friendly and the cottage was very cozy. Loved the experience in New Orleans! Would definitely stay again in the future. Recommend!
This was our 3rd trip to Arabi and the Mardi Gras cottage and once again, everything was clean, quiet and a bit like coming home. We just love the little place and Michael could'nt be more welcoming. I don't think we'll ever be staying anywhere else when visiting the NOLA area!
We arrived and the owner had sent me all info we needed a few days beforehand, it was great that there was a binder full of informative advice on where to park and eateries and to watch out for SCAMMERS. Definitely a great stay.
We were happy with our stay and would happily return. Great location. We spent a lot of time on the covered patio, but would suggest a fan be made available (mosquitoes were a nuisance at times).
This was a nice property. The cottage was cute and comfortable. Close to stores and restaurants. It never took long for Uber to get there and the rates to Downtown were very reasonable, especially compared to parking your own car. Would definitely recommend.
Great cottage with a large yard my lab really enjoyed. Easy access to the sights. Used Lyft two evenings to avoid driving and drinking. Overall a great week in NOLA!
The neighbors were nice, the accommodations were nice. Michael was awesome. The neighborhood was close to the fun, but felt safe.
The only minor downside was the bed/couch in the livingroom was uncomfortable to sit on for visits.
We would 100% recommend this place.
This property was great to bring our dogs to. The only thing I would say is to maybe get a chair for the livingroom. The day bed does not provide comfortable seating.
Felt like a real retreat. We didn't use it but nice to have a full kitchen. We loved the covered patio. Jasmine and begonias smelled wonderfull in the yard. A bird and butterfly haven. Michael was very nice and easy to deal with. Thank you!!!
The neighborhood was not what we expected and thus we chose to stay at a Residence Inn in Metarie.

Our GPS sent us on a totally out of the way route. Michael and his wife came to meet us and guided us to the cottage. Very very nice people. The cottage was sooo nice...tastefully decorated inside and out. Gorgeous lush yard and flowering plants. Easy access to to all attractions and a Walmart nearby for groceries. Thank you Michael and family for sharing your space. Everything you need for a lovely and safe vacation is at the Mardi Gras Cottage. Definitely will stay again.

We had trouble getting in every time using door key. TV did not work. We heard gun shots so we checked out a day early. I wouldn't stay there again we. didn't like the neighborhood.
