About this property

Unique stay at Odden Manor & museum

In the northern part of Jutland - near Hjørring - lies this unique place where you have the opportunity to take a trip in the spirit of art and history. Odden Manor is listed and dates back to the 16th century, and you now have the opportunity to stay in one of the wings of the manor. Namely the cavalier wing, which was renovated a few years ago. The entire Cavalier Wing is decorated with original Willumsen art, and you'll even have access to the collection in the associated museum during your stay. The collection of Willumsen works at the manor explores all aspects of his work - from his childhood drawings to the final, unfinished paintings. A fantastic tour through the working process that preceded some of his most famous paintings such as "The Mountaineer" and "After the Storm".

The newly renovated apartment is a unique experience in picturesque North Jutland. New floors, new bathroom and new kitchen contrast beautifully with the historic, classic surroundings. The apartment is ideal for the art-loving couple who want to enjoy each other's company in historic and idyllic surroundings. Here there is room for peace, contemplation and inspiration. Explore the unique collection of Willumsen's works in the museum, immerse yourself in history and enjoy a cup of coffee in the café in the old manor kitchen.

The local area is rich in nature, culinary experiences and culture. Visit the small surrounding villages, where you can find unique flea market finds and buy delicious delicacies to take home - not to mention visit some of the area's many museums. Take long walks in the beautiful forests, drive out to the sea or take a trip north and enjoy the fantastic Skagen with restaurants, shops and great experiences.
