Waterfront cabin on idyllic Røsholmen

On the sheltered side of Røsholmen, overlooking Oterøy, lies this authentic family cabin from the 1950s. Here you can experience archipelago life at its best, with maximum hours of sunshine and a location that few others can match.





The spacious cabin offers several bedrooms for adults and a large loft that children will love. The interior has been gradually upgraded since 2017 and is perfectly suited to one or two families with children who want to share great holiday experiences.





The unique patio consists of almost 100 square meters with a jetty and terrace right by the water's edge. Here you'll also find an integrated dining area and an outdoor kitchen. At the back, a cozy patio with morning sun and outdoor fireplace awaits.





From the 40-acre property, you can explore private rocky outcrops overlooking Jomfruland, or enjoy lazy days on the private sandy beach with a bathhouse. The area is known for its beautiful archipelago, and it's easy to explore everything Kragerø has to offer by taxi boat.



The cabin is located on a small island with no ferry connection, shops or similar. It is possible to take a taxi boat, but it costs about 600-1500 per trip depending on where you are going and the number of people. The price does not include the rental of a boat, but if needed, the rental of a 50 hp and 15 ft boat can be discussed, but then a boating license and associated skills are absolutely necessary.
