Not far from the cottage is Rørvig harbor with the smell of freshly smoked fish and a maritime atmosphere. Here you can catch crabs and buy fresh fish to take home, which you can later throw on the grill, while the vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden get a rinse under the tap in the outdoor kitchen. If you're more in the mood for a lazy day, it's not far to the nearest beach where the kids can frolic in the sand dunes and play in the shallow sea water. Here you can enjoy the house's outdoor shower where you can rinse off all the sand and salt water before heading back indoors. If it's a relaxing day in the house that appeals, the garden and terrace offer plenty of cozy corners where you can find sun, shade and shelter, as well as plenty of toys to stimulate the children. You can also lace up your walking shoes and explore Korevlerne, a 100-year-old protected nature area that is home to many habitats, wild animals and rare plants.
