Architect drawn holiday home near Rondane Park

This unique cabin is located at about 1000 meters above sea level, at the foot of Rondane National Park! This spacious and well-equipped cabin gives you every opportunity for a wonderful vacation, whatever the weather. Here you can enjoy the silence, the fantastic views and countless hiking opportunities right outside the door.



The interior has been carefully planned and equipped to give you everything you need. Three bedrooms provide plenty of space to relax after a long day out. The bathroom is tiled with Otta slate and has a sauna where you can enjoy the mountain views. The kitchen is well-equipped for foodies, including an espresso machine and baking machine. In the annex, you can retreat and enjoy the view with a good coffee, do yoga, read or play games.



Outside, you'll find a covered terrace with a hammock, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh mountain air. You can also cozy up by the fire pit while enjoying the mountain views.



The area around the cabin is a paradise for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. Take a trip to Formokampen, Peer Gynt or Smuksjøseter. There are fishing lakes and mullet bogs in the area, where a good meal can be harvested. Rondane National Park is a protected, magnificent mountain massif with 10 peaks over 2,000 meters above sea level. Visit Høvringen Landhandleri for your daily needs, or take a day trip to popular destinations such as Galdhøpiggen, Besseggen, Dovrefjell and Snøhetta. Høvringen used to be one of Norway's largest mountain farms, with over 30 farms. Rondeheim, the Norwegian Mountain School, has many animals and opportunities for visits and horseback riding.



In winter, there are countless opportunities for cross-country skiing in all directions, with a total of 150 km of machine-prepared trails that start right outside the door and go straight into the national park.



For mountain bikers, there are fantastic opportunities to cycle down towards Sel, and up to Formokampen for the fit. Cycle along the river from Høvringen to Smuksjøseter, a perfect cycling route where you can cycle on to Peer Gynt by following the right trail. A visit to the world's most beautiful valley, Grimsdalen, is also recommended!
