Emplacement et attractions
Profitez de notre maison qui a été achetée en 2016 et entiÚrement rénovée l'année derniÚre. Une sensation propre et moderne est également parfaite pour les familles et les enfants. Grande cuisine et salle à manger conçues par deux anciens chefs. Le plan d'étage ouvert au premier étage permet une atmosphÚre familiale amusante. Notre maison se trouve sur trois lots et possÚde une belle cour à l'ombre d'un saule pleureur géant. Parfait pour les siestes, les sports avec les enfants, les grillades et les feux de joie le soir. Nous avons 3 kayaks avec pagaies à disposition. Beaucoup de téléviseurs, de systÚmes de jeux pour les enfants et d'endroits tranquilles pour s'asseoir et se détendre pour les adultes. Les grands terrains permettent beaucoup d'espace pour le stationnement et les remorques avec des bateaux, etc. Nous offrons une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et la maison dispose de plusieurs téléviseurs intelligents avec pour Netflix, Amazon ou Hulu, etc.

La maison comprend un garde-manger bien approvisionnĂ©, une cuisine de chef d'une valeur de fournitures et d'Ă©quipements de cuisine, ainsi que de nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable. IdĂ©alement situĂ© dans le village, les locataires sont Ă  un pĂątĂ© de maisons de l'accĂšs public Bass Lake et Ă  deux pĂątĂ©s de maisons de l'accĂšs Elk Lake - parfait pour les promenades, le kayak et les pique-niques. La maison est Ă  distance de marche du centre-ville, du barrage pour la pĂȘche et Ă  peu prĂšs toutes les options de restauration de la ville. De plus, nous sommes Ă  proximitĂ© du golf, de la marina d'Elk Lake pour les bateaux, de la randonnĂ©e, du vĂ©lo, du kayak et Ă  quelques minutes de route de Traverse City. Des excursions d'une journĂ©e vous mĂšneront Ă  Sleeping Bear Dunes, un jeu Lookouts, Mackinac Island, Turtle Creek Casino et bien d'autres attractions que le nord du Michigan a Ă  offrir.

We had a fun time as a family on our trip. The home is perfect for what you need and the grocery across the street makes it so convenient. Elk Rapids (Veteran Memorial Park) has a beautiful beach that is perfect for young families as well as the disabled community. As a family with a child born with a rare genetic condition, it was so incredible to pull up to the closest little beach and see not just a walkway to the beach BUT A FREE SAND/WATER WHEELCHAIR! Outstanding job Elk Rapids Community! The Moering family from Indiana cannot wait to come visit again in the future! We will make sure and share this with our community and just know that it means the world to SO many of our families. Finding accommodations in our situations is really hard. Just so cool to not expect to find but be pleasantly surprised! :)

Convenient location!

This location is great for anyone interested in Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Torch Lake, etc. Very easy to get to with grocery store and dining very close. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. Pay close attention to the details in the communications from the property owners.

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very nice and the kitchen was amazing!! Had everything we needed. We got some great suggestions for food and were able to contact the owners about where to find the closest beach and they got right back to us. Feel like we found a hidden beach and spent the whole day and then able to have a nice relaxing fire at night. Can't wait to go back!!

Ski trip

The property was as described. it was clean, stocked with the essentials, and had enough space for our party of six. Ample parking. Our bed was comfortable. We chose it because Elk Rapids is centrally located between Traverse City, Bellaire, and Charlevoix. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, including suggesting many places and restaurants to visit in the area.

Great location for exploring Northern Michigan

We stayed with another senior couple with the intent of exploring and bicycling Northern MI. The accommodations, with two bedrooms on the first floor, and two baths was perfect for us. Nice big driveway and garage easily accommodated 2 trucks and our small trailer. Very short walk to excellent grocery store, winery and wonderful Ames St. Cafe. furniture was a little worn and mattresses need to be replaces as they sagged a little toward center but overall very comfortable.We never used the yard but it was very nice and had a nice fire pit and games.

Great location

The store across the street was great. I did not go however, my friends said they had everything there. Salad bar, deli, beer, wine. Beauty products-nail polish remover, under eye patches. Had a hawk hang out in the backyard one afternoon. That was entertaining. Nice place,we all said we would go back if ever in the area again.

My wife Tami and I, and honestly my whole family have helped to make this house into our family vacation home. We have three kids- two boys and a girl in the middle. I am a College administrator in Oakland County, and Tami is a Real Estate Agent in Ann Arbor, MI. We are both graduates of the University of Michigan and are dedicated football fans. Additionally, I coach my youngest son Milo who is the starting center ad long snapper for the Ann Arbor Pioneer HS Football team.
Outside of work, our family has dedicated itself to establishing and developing a property management business. We are hoping to establish a presence in northern Michigan that will allow us to live and work full time there. In the meantime, we work during the week, and spend just about every weekend either managing or doing construction on our next venture!

Tami and I met in the restaurant business many years ago. She was a waitress and I was a chef. In cliche fashion, we fell in love and got married. Today, for fun, we still cook, forage and fish. We also make our own dry cured sausages and hams and hope to one day also buy a food truck that sells sandwiches made on our homemade sourdough English muffins. We love sports- the Lions, Big Blue, and my son's lacrosse and football teams. We also love the outdoors. We really enjoy spending time on the amazing lakes around this house with our families and friends.

We built this house to be a place for our family- increasingly scattered to the winds these days- to be able to come home to and spend time together. We sincerely hope you will be able to do the same here with your friends and loved ones and we look forward to hosting you.

We have been coming to ER for more than 20 years to stay with my parents and to visit our best friends from college. After 16 years of sleeping on the futons at our folk's place, we decided to invest in one of our own. We love Elk Rapids! There is no other place where we feel so safe to let our kids loose. Boating, snowmobiling, dining, shopping, and so many other great activities are so close to the house. We love everything ER offers and there is not a better community to live in!
