Enjoy your own rotating private, luxury two bedroom* ocean front condo in THE WORLD'S FIRST ROTATING HOUSE WITH GUEST CONDOS. All four of our identical ground floor condos (we live on the 2nd floor) rotate throughout the day to showcase a variety of rolling farm, beach, & ocean views – including Rustico Harbour, PEI’s North shore, & the red sand cliffs. This unique feature ensures that you will capture all the wonderful sights PEI has to offer!

Join us on certain days during the week for a basement tour to see how the mechanics, plumbing, platform, & motors turn the house for only 15 cents/rotation!

*One king bed in the master bedroom & one queen murphy bed in a separate room which shares space with the kitchen & living room. Each room has separate access to the bathroom.

The rotating house is whimsical in nature. ThE appointments are comfortable and relaxing.

Upon our arrival, our condo was ready and easily accessed. Information about the unit was easily found. The rooms and living area were comfortable. We enjoyed the rotating feature and the sauna. It’s close proximity to shops, restaurants, and the harbor was wonderful. The location is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at this architectural marvel…Kindly The Schmidt Family

Amazing property

Lovely location , perfect walk into town or the harbour area with a couple of great restaurants , bike and kayak rental and new coffee/gift shop . Extremely clean , new and modern . Slept 4 comfortably . Rotation gave everyone great views . Amazing idea ! Beaches accessibe, 10 km bike to Cavendish along a great biking/walking trail . Can’t wait to return !

Fantastic stay, unique property, great hosts and great location!

We had an amazing stay at The Rotating Houses. The neighbourhood is a great alternative to busy cavendish, but is only 15 minutes away, and has some amazing restaurants within walking distance. 8 minute walk to a fantastic, and not nearly as busy as it’s more famous neighbour's, beach. Check in was extremely easy and communication was fantastic. Our room wasn’t available at check in time due to cleaners running behind and I texted the host (just as an FYI) and not only did he reply right away but we had a little basket of goodies the next day to compensate for the wait (which was less than an hour.) That was an unexpected touch and shows that they really care about their guests and the professionalism of their business. I really can’t say enough! If you are travelling to this part of the country you should really consider staying here as home base …one of the most unique places we have stayed. Honestly …a rotating vacation condo; how cool. Thanks Steve!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Around the Sea. The location is beautiful. Steve was very helpful during the booking and check in process. The condo unit was very well laid out and decorated. The ocean view and access to the beach was perfect. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Having grown up in Cavendish every summer since he was a boy, Steve Arnold's love of the area and family brought him back after living in Montreal, Toronto, and Sydney Australia.

It was in Australia that he met Mr. Luke Everingham, owner/builder of the original Everingham Rotating House and decided that he wanted to build a similer house on the North Shore of PEI overlooking the beach.

in 2013 Steve & his wife Stephanie completed the rotating 2 level, 5000 sq ft Deltec home which features four self-contained luxury condos on the ground floor available for short or long term rental.

Watch a 10 min video about the history of rotating houses, including a time-lapse video of Around the Sea being built in the summer of 2012 and then come upstairs to the 200 ft deck surrounding the house for complimentary cookies & lemonade to view the spectacular view over the beach while the house is rotating!
