Compact but perfect

This cottage was reviewed as small but we found it perfect for the two us. It provided all necessary amenities was also very comfortable. Our host was pleasant and charming and extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again

The house is small, the kitchen is very small with the bathroom and toilet all in the same area, with a big tank in the toilet you have to be aware of,and a bit of a juggle if you want to cook as I do. But the lounge area is ok, but not very comfy chairs. The bedroom is lovely, the bed is very comfortable, excellent. But the night visits to the bathroom is a bit of a trek, we didn’t have anyone with us so the sofa bed was not in use, so no one to disturb fortunately. The garden is excellent, especially the bakery over the road, and a local shop that does just about everything, and a lovely walk to the beach, we found different ways to it. There is no freezer compartment in the fridge, but the owners brought us some ice packs to use on our return journey. Overall it is a lovely place, just needs a few updates. The owners are lovely and very helpful.

Wir waren 2 Wochen von 20.7-3.8 in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Haus bietet ausreichen Platz für 2 Personen. Der große Garten macht Urlaub mit einem Hund sehr angenehm. Frau Lequertier ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Die Nähe zum Wasser und zum Bäcker ist super. Die Ausstattung vom Haus ist ausreichend. Aber jeder ist individuell und findet was einem fehlt. Aber wir sind schon sehr Ferienhaus erprobt und nehmen was wir brauchen immer mit. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub und wir werden wieder kommen.

Eine Woche schöner Urlaub

Das beste am Urlaub: Die WetterApp war ungenau, statt Regen hatten wir gutes Wetter. Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Haus. Für mehr als zwei Personen nach unserer Meinung nicht geeignet. Alles sauber und funktioniert. Zusammenfassend kann man es so sagen: Wer im Wohnmobil klar kommt, hat hier keine Probleme. Wer Enge im Wohnmobil als unangenehm empfindet, der könnte sich hier ggf. nicht ganz so wohl fühlen. Das Grundstück ist groß und komplett umzäunt, unser Goldie hatte viel Auslauf. Im Ort gibt es einen Bäcker schräg gegenüber auf der anderen Straßenseite, einen Metzger, ein Kleinwarengeschäft und eine sehr gute Bisquitterie. Zum nächsten Supermarkt (Intermarche) sind es ca. 10 km. Die Lage ist wunderbar. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da und es war nur ganz wenig los. Zum Strand bzw. Hafen fünf Minuten zu gehen. Wir hatten die Fahrräder dabei, in Küstennähe kaum Höhenunterschiede. Weg von der Küste muss man ein paar Höhenmeter machen, mit E-Bikes kein Problem. Ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für D-Day Erkundungen, es gibt sehr viel zu sehen und zu erleben und alles ist nicht weit weg. Fazit: Gute Gastgeber, kleines Ferienhaus, schöner Urlaub. p.s. in den Rezensionen hatten wir gelesen, das WLAN wäre langsam. Das ist falsch, schnelles WLAN, wir konnten Filme sauber und ohne Unterbrechungen streamen.

Haus in Quineville, Normandie

Die Unterkunft war gut und sauber. Die Vermieter waren super freundlich. Alles sauber und vorhanden was man so braucht. Leider ist das Bett mit 1,40 Meter sehr schmal für zwei Erwachsene. Unser Hund ca. 53 cm war herzlich willkommen. Man sollte aber wissen das in der Normandie ab ende September 90 % der Gastronomie geschlossen hat und er Rest nur kurze Öffnungszeiten sowie klein Karten hat. Das konnte man leider auch im Internet nicht so nachlesen. Sehr freundliche Menschen getroffen die immer hilfsbereit waren auch mit wenig Französich Kenntnissen.

Auch der 2. Urlaub in dem kleinen Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Freundlichkeit der Gastgeber, die Sauberkeit, die Ausstattung und die Lage, alles hat dazu beitragen. Wir kommen wieder!

Ce sejour a été excellent, la petite maison est parfaite pour les vacances et sa propriétaire charmante. Le grand jardin est appréciable. La situation permet de visiter le Cotentin facilement, et il y a à voir ! J'y referais volontiers un sejour.

Fantastisch huisje vlakbij zee

We hadden dit huisje voor 14 dagen geboekt en het was top. Een cadeautje van de gastheer/ vrouw als je toekwam. En een heel vriendelijke ontvangst.Alles was aanwezig behalve lakens. Er was een wasmachine dus dat was geweldig met 2 kleine kindjes en een grote omheinde tuin. De bakker was aan de overkant van de straat en de zee om de hoek ☺️

Mooie huisje vlak bij Utah Beach

Ontvangst stond er al toen wij aankwamen. Eigenaren blijken op afstand van zo'n 40 km te wonen. Bovenverdieping smal 2-persoonsbed van 140 cm breed. Alleen dekens, dus je moet eigenlijk zelf lakens meenemen. Maar ja in Nederland gebruiken we eigenlijk alleen dekbedden met overtrek. Lakens bleken niet voorhanden, gelukkig konden de buren van de Gite ons aan lakens helpen. WC-gedeelte moet je even opletten dat je je hoofd niet stoor en de grote boiler die boven je hangt. Koken op 3 pitten gasfles en 1 pit elektrisch. Die laatste was onze redding want de gasfles was na 2 dagen al leeg. Voor de rest heerlijk huisje voor echtpaar of heel klein gezin. Groot grasveld met tuinmeubelen terbeschikking.Dichts bij zijnde supermarkt en tankstation in Montebourg.

Klein, maar superfijn

Uitstekend. Schoon, netjes, knus, gezellig, meer dan genoeg keukengerei etc. Ruime zolderslaapkamer, bed met prima matras. De tuin is groot. Een vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren Een leuke verrassing stond op te tafel. De beschrijving over deze accomodatie klopt helemaal.

Wir kommen wieder

Uns hat es in dem kleinen Haus, das mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet ist, sehr gut gefallen. Die freundliche Gastgeberin, der abgezäunte Rasen vor dem Haus, die Strandnähe sowie der kleine Supermarkt und der ausgezeichnete Metzger in der Nähe sind zusätzliche Pluspunkte. Wir kommen wieder!

Gîte de grande qualité

Gite très propre. Propriétaire tres sympathique. Une cour devant la maison que notre loulou a apprécié. Vraiment très bien comme gîte a prix tres raisonnable .bravo aux propriétaires. De plus le faite d'avoir une boucherie, petite épicerie ainsi qu'une boulangerie a moins de 100m c'est appréciable
