Esta es una casa de artesanos de 1928 que ha sido completamente decorada.
Mantuvimos todo lo que pudimos para la época, con también las comodidades modernas.

Perfection in South Park

What an amazing stay. It was just me, but I had a rotating cast of Guests. Everyone was blown away by the house. A beautiful back yard with a lovely breeze for book reading, chatting or dozing. 3 different living room set ups for games, tv watching or visiting. Kitchen was stocked for a serious cook. Comfortable beds with top class linen. The neighborhood has so many stores, restaurants and services within a mile of mostly level walking. I was there 3 months and felt safe and AT HOME. Amazing. Simply amazing.

An immaculate Home in South Park

Brad and Linda were wonderful hosts for their immaculate home in South Park. We are a family of 5 and stayed for 7 weeks in what quickly felt not like a short term rental, but our own home in South Park. Brad and Linda really went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely back yard with shaded gazebo and room for our young children to run around. Very central location for reaching everything in greater San Diego. Great cafes and restaurants within a few blocks walking distance and a very pleasant neighbourhood to stroll around. We were very happy with our choice.

Lovely Neighbourhood

The South Park neighbourhood is a real gem and our family of five really enjoyed the eclectic restaurants and cafes all within a block or two. The house itself is immaculate and has everything needed for a very enjoyable stay. The beds are comfortable with good quality linens and there is an abundance of towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable and you can easily cook all your meals there. I highly recommend this house and look forward to returning.

Excellent stay, will again

We had a very pleasant experience with the owner and property. The owner was quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. The property was gorgeous, very clean, and as advertised. Really nice location within walking distance to a number of restaurants and Balboa Park. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home away from Home

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. Brad and Linda were so accommodating for all our needs. They were both professional and personal! Nice linens and very comfortable beds. Kitchen is stocked with everything that you may need. All the drawers are nicely organized and labeled. Location is great, walking distance to restaurants. Great Pkacd from all aspects!

Charming house, fabulously equipped

As a short-term host myself, Brad's rental is really tremendous. The home's furniture is in good condition, and comfortable. What stood out to me is the degree to which the home is amenitized, in particular the kitchen: literally every small kitchen appliance one could think of has been supplied, well in excess of a standard short-term rental. When we arrived, we hosted our immediate family for wine and did not have any issues running short of glasses. Be sure to connect with Brad about the second bathroom, which is not part of the standard offering, but he was gracious about ensuring we had access. In all, this is a property run by a host that clearly cares about going the extra mile, and I'd recommend it without reservation.

Great hosts, great property, great location

The title says it all. So much attention to detail in this property. The hosts are very kind and accessible. From the 2.5 year old girl to the 74 year old guy in our party, we had a great time and this house and our hosts had a lot to do with it. Wonderful location/neighborhood with lots of shops, market, restaurants and bars all within walking distance.

Comfortable & quiet stay in South Park

I'd like to emphasize that this property is very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is large and comes stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, a large fridge and a fully stocked spice rack. The furnishings were very comfortable and clean. It was a warm weekend during our stay and experienced some ant activity. If you plan on staying with more than 6 people, I suggest you book the granny suite. This is an extension of the home and offers another restroom with shower. Note that without the granny suite you'll have access to one restroom with two showers inside that same restroom. We did have an extra guest who joined us, but thankfully Brad was able to accommodate us.

A Treasure Chest Inside

This home exceeded all of our expectations. It is an older home, but the inside has been completely renovated and modernized. When we arrived, it looked ready for a magazine photo shoot. The rooms were immaculately clean, bright, sun filled, and attractively furnished. The location was convenient for seeing many San Diego sights. And, there were neighborhood restaurants and stores within a few easy walking blocks in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. You would have to be renting from Martha Stewart to have a better place to cook. I especially appreciated some of the redundancy—such as multiple full sets of measuring spoons, cups, cutting boards, and frying pans. Everything was well maintained and good quality—no worn out, poor quality pans. New appliances are high quality—6 burner Viking gas cook top, double ovens, and microwave. There were also numerous small electrical appliances, generous supply of glassware and china, and a nice assortment of spices in the pantry. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the closets were spacious. The bunk beds in the one room were very sturdy, strong metal frame construction. I had no concerns about letting our grandsons ages 11 and 9 use them. WiFi and cable TV worked flawlessly. Washer and dryer were also new and large capacity. Many other small thoughtful touches can also be found—such as beach towels and a small ice chest in one closet. We enjoyed the options for dining spaces at home—kitchen counter, dining room, high top table in a sun room, and a lovely large outdoor table shaded by a gazebo which we especially enjoyed with the outdoor gas grill in a nicely landscaped yard. The granny unit is an attached wing of the house and was also recently renovated. Besides supplying another sleeping area, it has a small kitchen area, sitting room with TV and Murphy bed, and a separate bathroom. It can be added to the rental of the main portion of the house to further enlarge an already spacious home. Some homes may be dressier on the outside, but walking inside this home was like walking inside a treasure chest. It I was our perfect home away from home and throughly loved and enjoyed by everyone in our family. Linda and Brad have set a high bar for other owners.

Great house and great location

The Dale house was wonderful location for our family vacation. It’s a very inviting house with all the amenities you could Ask for. The property manager was very accommodating and let us have additional family members over for a family BBQ. The three toddlers we had along had a great yard in which they could safely play . The location was perfect very close to all the attractions in San Diego plus you could walk to great restaurants and great shopping just two blocks away

Great Place!

Lovely refurbished 1920's home. Brad was very easy to work. Very comfortable stay for myself and family. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Good home base location while exploring San Diego.

Exceeded expectations!

We have rented accommodations in many places around the country and this was an outstanding home away from home. We had 4 adults and two grandchildren. Everyone had their own space and the children even had a private yard to play in. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped allowing us to host a great Thanksgiving dinner. We were within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops of South Park. There were TVs aplenty, private space for everyone and an outdoor eating area with a grill and a pergola in the side yard. We always had street parking in front, but it also had off street parking available. Brad and Linda (owners) were very accommodating and outfitted the home as if they lived there. We look forward to returning to 73 degrees and sunny!

Great San Diego Stay

Perfectly located and incredibly well appointed, we loved our stay in this little craftsman. Brad was extremely proactive and easy to work with. The house had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable and productive. Location is excellent, both to San Diego attractions and to a little restaurant district. Fabulous house for vacation!

We spent a week at this house and had such an enjoyable vacation because of it. The house is beautifully done down to every last detail. Brad and Linda met us for check in and showed us around and were incredibly sweet to our little kids. They gave them gifts and even housed the place with a high chair and pack n play when I said I may rent them. They went over the top in making the house clean, organized, decorated, and welcoming. We made use of all the bedrooms- very comfortable beds! Kitchen and dining area were great to use. And we LOVED the backyard. Shaded table and nice green lawn. Plus the location can’t be beat! You will love your stay here. I’ve stayed in many places and this would be a repeat. I recommend for families or people without kids - which is hard for most places to offer! So excited to recommend this home!

Great Home, great location

We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was completely stocked with the little things you need but don't want to buy! The beds were very comfortable and the house was so clean, warm and inviting! The yard was a great place to relax and have morning coffee. The hosts were great! They took the time to show us around the house and give us advice as to where to go for dinners, etc. They were very responsive to any needs we had. The home was just around the corner from some great restaurants, nite life and very walkable. I would stay here again!

All amenities for best possible stay: new Laundry Rm: washer/ dryer, New gourmet kitchen: Custom Cabinets, Appliances, Granite Counter tops, New Custom Tile, Remodeled 2 Bathrooms, ( 1 in house & 1 in Granny Unit). Beautiful OUTDOOR PRIVATE: Covered Gazebo with Dining Table, chairs, Gas BBQ, & Lawn to enjoy the San Diego Weather.

We have a corner Lot, 1 story, large yard & only 1 house next door.
IMPORTANT: We have OFF Street PARKING.
Most Craftsman homes do not have central air or heat.
We have that with all modern conveniences. All original 1929 hardwood floors newly refinished, 95% of All Windows have been replaced with New double pained windows.
