Detta hus var smeknamnet "The House with the View", på grund av den fantastiska utsikten över dalarna och bergen i Catskills "mittemot det. Fall foliage getaway

The views from the house were incredible. Loved how close hiking trails were to the house and the cute town of Woodstock. What made it even better was after a long day of hiking to relax in the hot tub. Would definitely come again. The fall foliage this time of year was beautiful.

Winter Weekend Getaway

The house was exactly like the pictures, except for a few new pieces of furniture. We were looking for a relaxing weekend and got everything we were looking for, beautiful views of the mountains, and plenty of relaxing by the fire, in the hot tub and on the sun deck. Only 10 minutes from town. We will definitely be back to check the area or in a different season

Very Peaceful

I brought my wife here for her 30th birthday for a long weekend, and we loved our time here and together. The place was just large enough for the both of us where it was intimate, but we also weren't on top of each other. The kitchen was full stocked with everything we needed, the bathroom was nice and the hut tub outside was a nice plus (as were the robes to get to and from the tub in the freezing weather). It snowed when we were there, and the driveway and walkways were shoveled for us which was thoughtful and appreciated. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place and experience, we will definitely be back during a different season to see how this area changes!

Great Getaway!

What a beautiful and charming area to spend our week. We loved the coziness of the house and the quietness of the area. We stayed for 5 nights and really had a wonderful time as a family. The house has basically everything you need. And the hot tub was a real bonus! You are only a short distance to the heart of Woodstock which has great restaurants and little shops. Also be sure to check out the James Cox gallery right down the road. I was happy to find and purchase a wonderful piece of art there. The check in was easy and communication with the host was good. If you are looking for a place to get away and unplug this is the place for you! We definitely plan to return in the future!

A Great Escape

All of the descriptions are spot on. Wonderful property just minutes away from the downtown. Set with gorgeous views in an area that is DEAD silent. It’s alarmingly quiet when you’re used to the noise in more urban settings! The house was so well appointed with everything you could need. Blankets, sheets, towels, kitchen tools, etc everything was nice. Not just basics you’d expect to find in a rental. It was amazing to stay somewhere with no signal! Thankfully the WiFi kept us connected if we needed it. Our weekend was so very much enjoyed and we look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

Romantic Cottage Getaway

Wonderful peaceful and serene stay at this beautiful property. Close to Woodstock, Phonecia and Boiceville but when you’re on one of the deck’s or in the hot tub it feels as is the rest of the world is a million miles away. The cabin is beautifully furnished (in a fun, funky fashion!).

Beautiful and peaceful cottage

We spent a relaxing couple of days at this beautiful house near Woodstock. We really enjoyed sitting on the upstairs deck looking out at the amazing view of the mountains, and relaxing in the hot tub under the stars at night. The house is in a perfect location, very private and quiet but a short drive away from restaurants, shops and hikes. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Adorable cottage with amazing view & vibe

This beautifully styled cottage is well located 10 minutes from Woodstock in a tranquil setting with fabulous views of the countryside and mountains while still being very private. The furnishings are funky and stylish and the high ceilings really make it feel spacious and unique. There is a wonderful deck off the second floor to relax on and a great porch with a fun swing chair. The property is very spiritual with wonderful places to meditate as well. The hot tub is very private, clean and a true gem after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend this special property.

Great place!

The spot is really beautiful. The house itself is whimsical and very romantic. Very private and the hot tub worked wonderfully and we gazed at the stars while bubbling away the evening. The town of Woodstock was charming and we enjoyed the hospitality and great food there. All first rate!

Wonderful, peaceful cabin with amazing views

Wife and I had the pleasure of renting this wonderful cabin for 2 short days for her 50th birthday. What a gem! Total tranquility but yet a short 10 minute drive to the cool little town of Woodstock. After a day of exploring, the cabin was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy beautiful vistas from the front porch or take advantage of the hot tub oasis in the back (my favorite). The cabin itself is spotless and cozy, complete with unique art and decor. Many amenities are provided by our kind and gracious hosts Dror and Corinne, who are always available if needed. Top notch folks and rental. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Delightful Woodstock Cottage

We had a wonderful, restful week while staying at this cottage. The house was charming and well-equipped. The surrounding area was lovely. The house is conveniently located to hiking trails, restaurants and entertainment venues.

Great stay at a great place

The views from this location cannot be beat. I had booked the cabin for a nice quiet weekend to unplug and recharge. The weather cooperated and was treated to an outstanding night sky complete with some shooting stars. I look forward to my next booking here at the willow house.

Romantic getaway for two

The Willow House was a lovely home with beautiful views and all the amenities you could need. Everything was very clean including the relaxing hot tub. Located very close to Woodstock and provided ample opportunity for shopping and eating out but far enough to be quiet and hear the sounds of nature. We were able to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and just enjoy the peacefulness of this lovely house surrounded by nature. We would certainly return again.

Relaxing romantic getaway

Beautiful property-- we were able to unwind and relax for our anniversary. We got to see fireflies and amazing starry night sky in the hot tub. Wonderful hikes nearby in the Catskills! Highly recommend, would love to go back!

The Cooper home was called "The House with the View" for 200 years, inspiring generations of artists to set their canvases across from it and be inspired by the magnificent open landscape of the Catskill mountains, stretched as far as the eye can see. There are two trees on the property - an old grandmother Willow and a Catalpa tree - that have inspired, healed and supported whomever rests under their canopy.
I dedicate this house to the artists and healers among us. I owned an art gallery in Boston for 14 years - art and healing are my passions. I decided to make this beautiful venue especially affordable to those of us who are dedicated to bring about beauty; to those who create music, paint, write poetry or novels; to those of us who dance and to those of us who heal and touch other souls, helping to make them whole.
