Questa è un'accogliente casa indipendente circondata da alberi vecchi e belli, in un bel quartiere tranquillo, con spazio sufficiente per una famiglia o un gruppo di amici che cercano di stare vicino ai canyon e solo 20 minuti di auto dal centro di Salt Lake City. La casa ha un patio privato incastonato contro gli alberi nel cortile, cucina completa, camera familiare, sala da pranzo, due ampie camere da letto e un bagno completo. Il letto full size ha un nuovissimo materasso da 12 ". C'è un parcheggio per più auto.

Ci sono alcuni ottimi ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi (e molto di più in pochi minuti in auto in qualsiasi direzione) e l'uscita 6200 South I-215 superstrada / ingresso è a solo un minuto di auto, che ti mette alla foce del canyon sulla strada per Solitude, Brighton, Snowbird e Alta per sci, snowboard, escursioni, mountain bike e molto altro! Le località di Park City distano solo 30 minuti tramite la I-215 e la I-80.

La camera familiare comprende una grande TV HD con cavo Comcast con oltre 70 canali. C'è la connessione WiFi ad alta velocità disponibile in tutta la casa e un armadio pieno di giochi da tavolo per farti divertire di notte! La cucina comprende una stufa completa, un frigorifero di dimensioni standard, una lavastoviglie e un lavandino, oltre all'accesso al patio fornito di mobili da giardino e una griglia a gas.

Una camera è arredata con un letto matrimoniale più un ulteriore 12 pollici, e l'altra ha un letto full size con una scrivania. Entrambi hanno un sacco di mobili e spazio per riporre i vestiti durante il soggiorno. C'è un materasso ad aria queen-size che può essere usato per dormire in più, insieme a un materasso ad aria single-size, e il divano nella camera familiare è molto comodo. Great Home in Great location

Beautiful home, great amenities with easy access to skiing and all of Salt Lake City. Host is wonderful - great communication and very responsive to questions. I will seek out this home again for future visits to the area.

Last stop on multi-stop ski trip

My wife and I were joined by our 2 adult sons and our 8 year old granddaughter for the last leg of a multi-stop ski trip my wife and I were on. The property itself was exactly as described in the VRBO listing and Joan was one of the most welcoming (fresh cookies upon arrival and and an abundance of snacks/treats in the kitchen) and responsive hosts we've encountered. All in all, we had a very positive stay. But, I do have 2 observations to make that others might want to consider if they are thinking about renting this property:1) Even though the VRBO listing says the property has a sleeping capacity of 6, we found that the sleeping arrangements were a bit "tight" for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. There wasn't as much space flexibility re the use of an air mattress as we were hoping for. Not a huge issue. We made it work. Just something to be aware of if your group size 4.2) The furnishings and decorations in the living and dining area are quite nice and many of them were purchased by the owners in Asia. I was always on edge during our stay as my granddaughter seemed to always want to be picking up decorations to look at them and/or wasn't always as careful as I wanted her to be re the use of coasters, etc. Again, not a huge issue...just something to be aware of if your party includes kids who are a bit rambunctious and/or have a tendency to be less than careful with furnishings and decorations.I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great experience

Very clean. Great kitchen. Most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Super close to the mountains (4 resorts!). The art was a little strange and the couch was a little small. However, these are like the only negatives I could think of. This place was great.

Quiet, private getaway

We enjoyed our 17 day stay at the guesthouse! It was comfy and private in a beautiful neighborhood. The house was nicely equipped with everything you might need. Many interesting furnishings and decor from Mark & Joan’s travels. We would definitely stay again if we ever return to SLC!

The property is great. Verbo and Duck Duck Go are not compatible on my Droid phone. Had.not the host been watching the driveway, we would have had to stay somewhere else.

Highly recommend! Great location to downtown, mountains & airport. Exceptionally clean & fully stocked (kitchen, linens, etc) with everything you need to feel at home.

Perfect place for a long stay in Utah!

This place was perfect for my husband and I to stay at for two months while we worked remotely and skied as much as possible! It was a great location and the house had everything we needed!

Perfect base for a work/ski vacation

This lovely home was the perfect base for our work/ski vacation. The location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to go, and the home was very comfortable and well furnished for my work days, including fast wi-fi. Joan was welcoming and responsive without being at all intrusive. We will definitely come back!

We would not hesitate to stay here again. The location was close to the ski resorts. It is in a very safe neighborhood. The guest house was extremely clean. Very easy check in and check out process.

Wonderful week long stay close to the slopes

Everything about this unit was great....location, attentiveness to detail, amenities etc. Joan was gracious host and I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to be 20 to 30 min away from the ski slopes and still have access to all the conveniences of a big city.

Truely the Pinacle

Terrific place to stay. Extremely safe family friendly neighborhood. Good for family walks and trips to a great park with a playground for the children. The hosts catered to my family needs offering various children items that made the trip extremely special. The hosts gave us great privacy to the property and my family enjoyed our stay. My family will be back!

Clean Home and Great Location

This was our second stay in this listing while in town to visit family. The location is great, providing easy access to the canyons, shopping/groceries, highway system, etc. This while being only 10 min from our family. Still, this home is in a very quiet area and has great outdoor spaces to enjoy the wonderful SLC weather. The home is very clean, well equipped and Joan provided some nice little touches (i.e. some tomatoes fresh from their garden upon arrival).

Pros: -beautiful -fun and cool decor (and info about the history) -welcoming with the treats -plenty of everything (finally a place that isn't too stingy with detergents, tp, etc!) -very clean (we have a lot of allergies in our little family and no one had any trouble at all) -Joan was great at communicating and accommodating -no long checkout list (just start the dishwasher and put stuff back: awesome!) -safe and private -great location (so many things to do and places to eat! We loved hiking in the canyon) -fun toys that actually worked! -gorgeous deck area -they let our kids use their yard and play set -really good wifi Cons: -very squeaky floor We felt so comfortable, relaxed, and at home here. What a lovely house and host! Maybe the best place we have ever stayed. I highly recommend this place; it's so good!

Excellent choice for a Utah ski vacation

We ( 2 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely guest house. We came to Salt Lake for a week of skiing and this location was very handy for getting to all the major ski resorts. It was also convenient for grocery shopping and a variety of restaurants. The house is set well back from the main road in an upscale neighborhood and very quiet. It is well maintained, nicely decorated, has plenty of windows for natural lighting, and met our needs. Though nothing needed fixing while we were there, it was nice to have the owners, a delightful couple, right next door in case of an issue. We highly recommend this property.

Comfortable Home for Short or Long Stays

We loved this property. We stayed 45 days and wish we could have stayed longer. Over that much time you really get to know a place and the hosts. The space worked great for us. We cooked many meals in the kitchen, had guests at the lovely dining room table. We watched football games with friends in the living room an launched day trips around SLC and the nearby ski areas including Alta, Deer Valley and Snowbasin. The central locatation with close proximity to the freeway (without the sound) is terrific. The woods and bushes nearby are terrific habitat for many birds and deer. Mark and Joan treated us like we were family. We had a great time.

Cozy and comfortable

Great location, very clean, well-stocked kitchen, super comfortable beds, helpful hosts. The house was decorated for Christmas, and we enjoyed it very much. It was the perfect place for our 10 days ski adventure in Salt Lake City.

This property was as advertised. Spotless, spacious, great neighborhood and great location. There should be a 6-star rating that's available for select properties like this one. My family and I will back, the kids did not want to leave.

Fantastic home for your next getaway!

We had a most wonderful extended stay @ this place while our condo underwent construction. The house is exactly as viewed in photos, very nicely furnished & decorated, with comfy couch & beds. Hosts who live next door were quickly responsive to any needs we had, while maintaining our privacy also. The location can’t be beat if you are planning a ski trip to 1 of the resorts in Big or Little Cottonwood canyon, as it is very close to entrance of these canyons. You will not be disappointed if you choose this place for your next vacation!
