The host was quick to respond to any issues. A car could not make it up the drive to the cabin. Our FWD SUV struggled. Peaceful setting, close to everything. Walk to downtown and restaurants.

Excellent location - short walk into town. Be aware, though, that the unit sits on the side of a hill; the walk down is very steep, and the climb up could be a real challenge for anyone out of shape or with medical issues. Parking could be an issue with some large vehicles or low-to-the-ground vehicles. I would check with the agency before booking if you are concerned about going up a steep driveway. We had an AWD Cadillac SUV and a 4-WD truck. I had to engage the 4-WD after the rain because the pavement was a little slick. The hot tub was a plus! It was clean and well maintained. The unit is cute and nicely decorated. The pans could use some replacements, as many were warped on the bottom and didn't sit flat on the cooktop. There were plenty of eating and cooking utensils and place settings. The biggest drawback was the lack of a guest washer and dryer. The rental agency is very responsive and local. Helen is a fun little town with many small restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!

Very cozy!!! Beautifully designed and an amazing view of the river. The hot tubs were perfect and the beds were so comfy. Everything was very clean and well stocked. We absolutely loved the place!

The cabin was very cute and perfectly sized for the three of us. The hot tub was a fun feature to jump in while the sun set. Nice linens and towels, and a full kitchen for cooking. The host was very quick to respond to messages and answered immediately when we called. I would just caution about the driveway. We were in a minivan and had trouble getting up and down. It rained one day and I couldn’t get up the driveway. I had to park until the rain stopped. The front end scraped when leaving the property no matter which angle I took. I’d recommend a 4 wheel drive car and don’t plan on walking to town if you have mobility issues.

Wish the fireplace was on. It was 41 degrees one morning in May. Also wish there had been instructions for hot tub. We accidentally put it in sleep mode and it dropped in temperature.

I couldn't find the heater for the hot tub so we didn't use it. The host was very communicative. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The big thing I would suggest is to let people know that if they don't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle they won't be able to get up the drive way.

The cabin was perfect! It was clean and with a great location. The downstairs shower had great water pressure. The views sitting in the hot tub or rocking chairs were breath taking. Only concern I did not read into as well before booking was the driveway. Definitely do not rent if low sitting car. And we used our 4 wheel drive suv and still scrapped the bottom. But we mastered it by the end of the stay.

I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the place Above the rest. The person I had to call and find out a couple of things was outstanding. The food around the little town was amazing we only ate German food all weekend and liked it just because the restaurant is off the beaten path don’t mean it’s not good. Get out and explore it was amazing and we will be back.

The cabin is perfect! Great location with an easy walk to downtown (as long as you can handle the driveway up and down since it is a pretty steep hill). The cabin was very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities. We couldn't have asked for anything more awesome!
