Hide Away, Peaceful, Cozy cabin

Leave your worries behind and join Sasquatch at his HideOut. Take in the great views to the north from the large deck and enjoy dinner on the deck in the screened-in area. Quiet, easy living, snoozing on the deck then dining and grilling outside is the plan for the day.
Inside the cozy cabin offers 2 bedrooms, each with king-size beds. 2 baths, and an open living area all on one level. The bedrooms and baths are on opposite sides of the living area to give lots of privacy to all. Each bathroom has been renovated with a tiled walk-in shower.
Gather together by the wood-burning stove in the cooler months while sharing in food preparations in the well-equipped kitchen. Fiber internet for all your devices and a streaming TV to watch a game, or listen to your favorite tunes. In warmer months enjoy the coolness of the cabin with the sunny days just outside the door.
Sasquatch welcomes all, whether it is a romantic getaway for two. A besties couple's getaway, or a family gathering. Sassy Q says “come on! Enjoy, relax, connect, and hide out with me for a while”.
Sasquatch HideOut is minutes from many wineries and breweries. Some wine tours will pick up your group at the cabin, or nearby. Ask for details.
Easy drive to the Alpine town of Helen, GA. Great hiking trails, kayak input just a few miles down the road, and world-renown trout fishing are around the corner. HideOut in the beautiful North Georgia mountains with many conveniences minutes away.

The host was very nice and helpful. The battery was dead in the door lock and the host had someone come by and fix immediately. The cabin was very nice and the location was great to visit the surrounding attractions. Very quiet and beautiful views.

We had a wonderful stay! The host communicated very effectively throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The house was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. We especially enjoyed playing cornhole and spending time outside, taking in the beautiful views and perfect weather. It was a relaxing and memorable getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect cabin and in a great location. Part of the large deck was screened in making it very beneficial with keeping the mosquitos, bees and other insects away while enjoying the beautiful view. It has everything you'll need which includes any kind of cooking equipment and utensils, glasses, hair dryer, vacuum, etc. A quick, quarter mile walk down the hill and you can visit the wonderful Serenity Winery and not have to drive. The host is extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. It was just myself and my German Shepherd this time, but I will definitely stay here again with the rest of my family soon.

Excellent Summer Getaway

The cabin is located in just the perfect spot to get to many great locations that you’d like to visit for a long weekend getaway. We loved that we had all of the amenities we needed and Louise was an amazing, helpful host. Everything was so clean and as described in the listing.

Beautiful mountain view!

We walked into a cozy home with the perfect screened in porch. Spent a lot of time there with the fan on and a pillow behind my back. Beautiful mountain view! We needed this getaway and Louise made the planning of our trip easy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful View

The home and view were absolutely beautiful. The owners need to replace HVAC to accommodate all weather. Temps in the house dropped below 62 degrees - due to mechanical problems with the HVAC. Alternative heating included a wood burning stove ( which none of us were comfortable using- even though owners had provided a 3 page instructions) and one radiant heater - owner also suggested turning oven on low - and opening oven door to help heat up the main room. If we could have been warm - it would have been a much better experience. Instead we had on 3 layers of clothing - even to sleep at night. Lastly, the town of Helen was beautiful and a nice experience.

We have gone to helen area 20 something years, this is in the top 3, clean, great views everything worked. We like to walk and hike the road was definitely a hike we loved it.

Wonderful cabin with fantastic views!

Loved spending time on the outdoor fenced deck (as did our dog) and we also enjoyed the firepit. It was a very relaxing stay, being outside with a fantastic view of Mt. Yonah and some warm beverages during some cold winter weather was just what we needed. Close to Helen, many hiking trails and restaurants. Anna Ruby Falls was beautiful. We actually saw some deer at the cabin, during our stay. The cabin was warm, inviting, cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

The cabin is secluded, quiet, and peaceful. The views are just like described in the description. Location is just far enough out of town to be convenient. Host was super nice and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Great Time in Helen

My friend and I wanted to visit Helen and we stayed in this cabin for the weekend. The cabin is well kept, cozy, comfortable and the view from the deck is beautiful. It was very close to downtown Helen. We had a wonderful time and Louise is a great host! We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Helen.

We’ll be back!

My parents and I (and our dog) absolutely loved our stay at Sasquatch Hideout and should have extended our stay, we didn’t want to leave! The view from the deck was breathtaking, our mornings were spent there with coffee and cocoa enjoying the serenity and the view. The house exceeded our expectations (those mattresses are amazing!). It had everything we needed, the location is close to many activities but also secluded in a beautiful neighborhood. Louise was a great host and the checkin process was a breeze. We can’t wait to stay here again.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the mountains in the fall. The colors were beautiful. It was a good location to many things we had planned to do. I was expecting a little newer place from the pictures, so I think the pictures of the house may have been taken when it was newer. You may want to get a new coffee pot. It didn’t work correctly and the mattress on one of the beds needs replacing. There was no coffee which is usually provided at most rentals, at least for the first day. I was having a hard time getting the emails to open due to having to have a code. Impossible from a phone, but Louise texted me with the information needed to get in. She was very nice.

Great Stay

This was a great cabin with beautiful views! Everything we needed was there. The beds were super comfortable, and the showers were great. We had no problems whatsoever. We would definitely stay there again! PS The Corner Grill and Catering was a delicious place to eat breakfast.

Romantic get away

The cabin was awesome. Centrally located in the area. Very easy to get in and out of property. We really enjoyed our stay.

Separate bedrooms, open living space, all on one level. Large deck for outdoor gathering.
Exterior cameras on the driveway and side of the property for the safety of our guests, and to catch some "wild" animals visitations.
