Step into the main house, where a newly renovated kitchen boasts Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances, quartzite countertops, and a spacious open-plan living and dining area. Comfortable sofas and chairs, along with games, puzzles, and books, create a welcoming space for all ages. Floor-to-ceiling windows and an expansive deck frame breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico and the uncrowded white sand beach. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, a private porch overlooking the beach and pines, and a marble-tiled master bath with double sinks and a walk-in shower. Two additional guest bedrooms, each with two twin beds, share a marble-tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower. A pull-out sofa in the sunroom accommodates extra guests. We had an incredible time. Details were all there plus what you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a rental property. For example landscaping is gorgeous, dishes are nice, furniture is abundant and nice. Amazing place to stay

Arcadia is the perfect beach home !

This home has everything you would want for a Captiva vacation. Its right on the beach ! We watched sunsets from our deck, swam in the pool, watched dolphins, eagles and shorebirds. Its truly a special home with amazing decor and a great location. The beds were all comfortable and there was plenty of seating between the two living-rooms. We will be back !

We throughly enjoyed our week celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Beautiful house and location. Really appreciated the beach gear provided since we flew in. The guest house bed was the major disappointment and needs to be replaced. We would definitely consider a return stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful oasis.

Perfect location, perfect property...but get a proper gas grill to suit the property. Everything else was great but that, and that was disappointing. Highly recommended home to all, we’ve already rebooked for next year.

Captiva Trip

Overall the home and location is great! Our only complaint is the cook top and ice production. The cook top is tough to work with especially when your used to other cooking appliances. These are the only issues on the house.

2 weeks of heaven

This place was perfect for our group, close to the beach, private pool and the of course , the deck. We shelled, swam, lounged, fished, shopped the farmers markets and had a lot of fun exploring the island with our 6 passenger street-ready cart. The house was immaculate and beautiful, we had to call Kingfisher one time because we were having trouble with the Wi-fi (we had a couple people who tried to get some work done) and they sent someone out immediately We had fun checking out all the local restaurants, The Green Flash was our favorite. For convenience, we loved having the Santiva General Store (many beer runs :), Sunset Grill and Lazy Flamingo within walking distance. I'll definitely rent again when we decide on dates, if this place isn't available, I'll go through Kingfisher as they were very easy to work with!

Fun in the sun family reunion

The property is like a mini 5 star resort. The only thing missing is the spritzer person at the pool. We will be back! High end appliance in the large house were nice and seemed new. The smaller house may need a fridge upgrade at some point. Love the view and beach equipment.

Great space for family

Arcadia was a fantastic property in a great location. View and beach were ideal, ample beach toys, chairs etc. Pool was great to have and the second building was perfect for us to work separately during the day when we had to, but would also be great for a second family to have their own space. Overall the property was clean, but it’s a little dated, which is fine. Filter faucet was broken in the guest house kitchen and was never fixed, and the ants in the main house kitchen were annoying at the start of our trip. Management could put some bait/traps in to help that, and fix the broken fixture, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Loved this home in Captiva! It is right over the bridge from Sanibel and we loved the location. We rented a golf cart for rides into Captiva town. The home could not have been more perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 kids under 4. Both houses are lovely with beautiful furniture and accessories. The porch is the highlight ! We sat outside many nights and mornings. Noseeums (bugs) were around and bothersome but maybe a few citronella candles would be helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked other than coffee mugs - we had to borrow from the guest cottage. It would be nice if management company left spices that renters buy so that the next have spices, olive oil etc so you don’t have to start from scratch. The pool is perfect and there are lots of chairs and toys for the beach. Fantastic place….would stay there again and again!

Beautiful property. Great hangout space inside and out. Pool was wonderful and maintainence was great at keeping pool clean after winds and storms. Beach is gorgeous, quiet and private. Bedroom separation worked well for our family. Kitchens and baths are lovely. Appreciated generous number of towels and beach towels. Loved ceiling fans everywhere kept us cool if you aren’t an ac lover. Two outdoor showers were the best! Lots of sand toys and chairs for beach. No sidewalks so know that before you go. Kitchen needs a few small additions- blender that works, salad spinner, large colander but generally well equipped.

Such a lovely home tucked into a private natural blanket of sea grapes! Very well equipped with beach gear and toys to keep adults and kiddos happy. Glorious skies every morning and night. A plethora of sitting areas for game playing, puzzles, movie nights (all three of which can occur at the same time). Beautiful private pool with lovely furniture and surrounding vegetation including lime/key lime trees! Easy access/departure making it a seamless trip all around. Highly recommend!

Make up for a lost year (2020)

Wanted something special after covid 2020, this did not disappoint. Sunsets were spectacular on the deck or if we preferred on the beach. Wife and daughter fell in love with the decor of the house while our 10 year old grandson LOVED the pool. Hated to leave! Will return!

Well Equipped, Beautiful Home

We just got back from a week's stay at this property. We rent from VRBO every year, and I have to say this was the best equipped house we have ever rented. From the well stocked kitchens, to the beach and pool equipment, we were lacking nothing. Having two houses was very nice. We used the smaller house for my husband and I, while the teens loved having all the space in the main house. The location was perfect! Wonderful views and easy access to the uncrowded beach. Having a beach wagon to take the provided beach chairs and umbrellas was very nice. We have stayed farther in on Captiva in the past and were a little bit worried about being so close to Blind Pass, but it was no issue at all. The property is well secluded with beautiful plants, trees, and flowers. Fishing off the beach is awesome with daily dolphin sightings. The pool was very clean and warm. We enjoyed the screened in porch on the guest house as it was hard to use the very expansive deck on the main house due to the no see ums. Maybe they are not as bad in the spring, fall and winter, but in the summer it's hard to sit outside and enjoy the view in the evenings due to the pesky bugs. The only drawback was the guest house does sway a bit when someone is walking around in the house or up the deck stairs. You can feel it when you are sitting in the house. It left my husband and I feeling like we were on a boat for a week....still feeling that sway a couple of days after. All in all, the property was great!

Beautiful property!

Arcadia was amazing. It was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We loved that there was a separate guest house so that our families could enjoy some down time in the evenings. We spent more time at the pool this year than our previous years at Captiva because the pool is awesome with such a clean, inviting atmosphere. The beach was a bit more crowded than we were used to in our previous stays but it wasn't a problem. Arcadia is the perfect get-away - we booked again next year! Only one note - if you are a bedtime tv watcher, bring some televisions or laptaps; most of the bedrooms do not have one. Other than that minor issue, Arcadia was amazing!

Beautiful

The setting is so beautiful, we had a lovely time. I agree with a lot of other reviews. The only issues we had included plumbing (was fixed promptly) and a few broken items (towel rack, beach chair) also taken care of quickly. The kids loved the pool, and the sunsets were stunning.
