Mountain Stay Chalet es una casa 3BR / 2BA recientemente renovada ubicada a unos 50 pies del primer hoyo en el campo de golf Beech Mountain. The Beech Mountain Club

Perfect for a small grouo

Cabin was clean. Easy to find. Exactly like the description online. Beds were very comfortable layout was nice. Everything worked well stocked kitchen. Main living area really only has four comfortable seating surfaces so keep that in mind if you have a slightly larger party. Kitchen small but very sufficient. Decks and view’s amazing.

Great Trip! Beautiful weather, beautiful house!

Perfect house for our long family weekend in the mountains! The house had everything we needed and the views were truly spectacular! All the falls colors were in full force!! The kids bedroom was perfect!

Overall great value and location

Overall we enjoyed the stay at the Mountain Chalet! Plenty of beds and the listing was accurate. The only thing was there were cobwebs everywhere. I know the property was cleaned because everything else was great. That was the only thing we noticed!

Perfect Snow Trip

My family and I had a great time. It snowed several inches the night we arrived so it made for great sledding the next day. The house is right across from a golf course, which when covered in snow, is great for sledding! We came in a 2 wheel drive minivan. While we didn’t have any issues, I would recommend 4 wheel drive vehicles as we did spin our tires a few times on the way out. The property was managed beautifully. After the snow, they came and plowed the road up to our driveway. Customer service was also great and answered quickly if we had any questions. We’ll be coming back!

Beautiful and peaceful

We had such a great visit to Beech Mountain. The area is gorgeous, the view from the deck, breathtaking. We loved seeing the deer and the rock formations. The house was so comfy and cozy for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes. What a great plus to have a washer and dryer. A great place to just chill out and enjoy the mountains- and we did:)

Beautiful, quiet getaway

This chalet was perfect for our family. The mountain views were breathtaking. We loved watching the deer, and playing games by the fireplace after a day of adventuring through the Mountains. There was a refrigerator leak when we arrived at 8pm. We called management, and they sent someone to take care of it first thing in the morning. They were quick and thorough.

Loved the house ! Had such a good time ! This seems small but we sleep with a fan but didn’t bring ours so it was nice they had fans in the room . View was beautiful. Loved seeing the deer every day ! Very clean . Loved the remote control gas fire place !

March getaway

The property is located on a beautiful part of the mountain. While we had a great time, the cabin needs a little tlc. When we got there, a pair of dirty socks were left I’m assuming from the previous renter. Kind of gross. There was a lot of dust and the pots and pans were filthy so we did not end up even being able to use them. The cabin does have some nice charm and a beautiful view, but it needs a deep cleaning where everything is taken out and cleaned thoroughly. Overall, our stay was peaceful and the fireplace was a gem!

The cabin and customer service exceeded my expectations. There was an issue with the fireplace and the property manager promptly called me to ensure I was aware. Good views but home needs to be updated

The home would be very comfortable with some updates like a smart TV in the LR. Also downstairs bedrooms and baths need to be updated. The home was not super clean when we arrived and two screens and the dryer were broken. Sonya was very helpful in getting the screens and dryer repaired. Also the windows were very dirty inside and out. We washed them ourselves and then enjoyed the beautiful view.

Poorly Managed Home

We arrived and the home and outside area were filthy. We spent the first two days cleaning(all documented with pictures). Box to store trash was completely tore up. We had to keep trash inside. We literally had to call/email management daily. They would respond sometimes but not do/fix the problem. We were promised access to the country club (on website and receipt for property) but never got it.

Nice views!

House is as stated in the description... a bit older and small, reasonably well kept, limited living room seating, good seating for dining. Beautiful views, nice covered porch with good seating. There were a few black ants in the kitchen. Occasional strong sewer smell outside on/off during day, believe to be when showers are running... not great when relaxing outside. For the kiddos, TV in each room with cable (no streaming services, e.g. Netflix). Sheets had a bit of fuzz on them, which was odd (perhaps washed with a blanket?). Nice location on golf range. We enjoyed seeing many deer, daily! Decent price before all the property management fees, which made it overpriced for what you get.

Recent stay experience

This is the 2nd time we rented Mountain Stay Chalet (both times in February). This past visit was last minute and I had called Carolina Cabin Rentals on Feb. 25th prior to booking online. When we had stayed over President's Day weekend, we had a problem with the coffee maker. A new one was delivered but it leaked. We left 2 voice mail messages and didn't get a call back. I also emailed upon returning home. When I called on the 25th (prior to renting again), I asked if the coffee maker had been fixed/replaced and was told yes. To our surprise, it was the exact same (broken/leaking) coffee maker. My husband called and there was no answer, but he left a message (on Saturday, Feb. 29th around 8:30am). No call back was received from Carolina Cabins personnel. It's a bit disappointing because this is the 3rd rental we have booked with you in the past 2 1/2 months. I will now question whether we should rent again in the future. The house itself is great and we enjoyed it. Just disappointed that we raised an issue - TWICE - and it was not addressed at all. I am assuming that 1 Star is the lowest rating and 5 Stars is the highest (there's no explanation in the drop down menu indicating whether 1 Star is low/bad and 5 Stars are high/excellent)? I'm giving a 1 Star because we are very disappointed in the most recent experience.

Everything was excellent i will recommend An return in the summer .Just a few observations to improve the experience there were some hairs in the shower and a few cob webs in the ceiling corners Pipes starting to rattle an knock as well as the lights went out leaving us with out heat on the last night overall experience hands down was excellent the views phenomenal an very relaxing an quiet we will be coming back in the summer

Great family Vacation

Our stay overall was great. The cabin was clean however I would have like cleaner bathrooms. The space and views were wonderful. We all enjoy the fireplace. We did not enjoy the noise coming from the screen front door at night. There was something wrong with it, so it wouldn't close, and the wind would swing it back and forth all night. Finally, we receive great response from Carolina Cabin Rentals. Every time we had a question, we receive a precise and quick response. We would definitely rent through this company again.
