This house was perfect for our family of 4. We loved that we could walk to town and access trails right out the front door. The house was beautiful, and the kids loved the twin beds upstairs. Thanks for a great stay.

Another lovely stay in CB, first stay at the Cabin though I am confident it will not be our last. Kitchen space was immaculate and well supplied for making meals at home. Meanwhile, access to Elk Ave and downtown CB made grocery trips, walks to the farmers market, and evening ice cream runs easy. Host was responsive, proactive, and thorough. Thank you!

We were delighted with our stay at the Cozy Cabin. It was everything advertised and much more. Comfortable, great location and beautiful and charming decor. Fantastic for our gals ski trip!

Great house!

The house was great for our family trip! It was clean and as advertised. The best part about it is the location. Each day we took the short walk down Elk into town. We will definitely stay again for future trips.

Wonderful Modern House Close to Town!

This house truly is adorable from the outside and incredibly modern and spacious on the inside. The queen bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The kitchen is gorgeous with white marble and large awesome gas oven. The gas fireplace made our evenings incredibly cozy. We loved that we could connect our IPhone to the speaker system and play our music throughout the house. Fantastic location next to the Visitor Center and main street of town. We walked to dinner every night and loved it. We caught the bus to skiing at the Visitor Center each day which was easy and took no time at all. We will look forward to staying here again!

If you want to be in town, the location can't be beat. Clean, nice kitchen. Some issues

Well appointed. Open first floor, recently remodeled with clean modern feel. Probably, one of the nicer kitchens of any rental home in CB. We would definitely rent again. However, some things to note: 1) there is only one true shower in the house. The Master bath only has a tub; 2) the master bath also doubles as the powder room; 3) the bedrooms, other than the master, are only suitable for children; 4) the master bedroom does not have a closet and only a small dresser for clothes; and 5) it is not professionally managed. Trash can was buried in the snow and ice back of the side of the house. When I finally dislodged it, I realized that it was 2/3 full.

Thank you for your comments - I am sorry you had a problem with the trashcan. I have addressed that issue with both my snow removal man and my housekeeper. The second floor is set up with individual beds as that is what suits most renters, but we do have the ability to link the twin beds in the black and white room into a king size bed if that works better for a tenant. Inside is amazing but the outside has Issues

Overall the place is solid - the inside is really amazing and well appointed. The location is also nice. The main issue is the front of the house - what the pictures and description do not show is that the property borders a very busy parking lot with a dumpster right outside. The pictures intentionally hide this and make it look like its on a quaint quiet street; its not. There are people right in front of the property all day with their bikes, changing, cooking, dumping trash in the dumpster. If dumpsters and parking lots don't bother you then no big deal; as i mentioned the inside is really great and location is good; but for me and my family when we are paying at a relatively higher price point i'd at least like to know what i am signing up for; hence the real issue is the fact that this was never disclosed and clearly it should have been.

Hello Justen- I am sorry the location by the 4-way parking lot was such an issue for you. I have never had any complaints about the parking lot before. As you can tell from other reviews, people love the location for its proximity to the tennis courts, shopping, and the free bus to the mountain. The fact that there is no house or building to the west also ensures a great view of the sunset and mountains. None of the pictures on the site were altered. Our giant (for CB) back yard make it easy to take shots without the fence in them. I am glad you enjoyed the inside of the house, and still had a great time in CB. Monica

I stayed in this enchanting little home for three weeks and cried when I had to leave it. It's beautifully designed and decorated with a great kitchen with gas stove and oven, and living room that run together. I love the old fashioned bathtub for the downstairs bedroom. I loved the front porch with the double swings as well as the back porch with the big dining table and fire pit. I was by myself but could easily see a family staying there as in addition to the master bedroom downstairs there are 5 single beds upstairs in two different bedrooms with a large bathroom to share. The house is on "the outskirts" of town and by that I mean if you WALK THREE MINUTES you are in the stress free, joyful little town with amazing restaurants and shops. the people are relaxed and happy and helpful. there is no crime or worry of crime. the host of the home was very helpful and responded to all of my questions and comments which I greatly appreciated given that I felt like I was contacting her a lot! I loved every minute of my stay. Highly recommend this lovely little house.

Spring break

We loved this property and will be back! The location is perfect for a quick ride on the free bus to the mountain, and a short walk up Elk to the stores and restaurants! The house’s restoration was done very well, and has the charm of an old home with the amenities of a new house. We loved the size for our family of 4, but it could have fit another family if needed. Monica was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to any concerns!

Family vacation

Our family of five had an outstanding time at this home. It was perfect for our needs with the bus stop to the ski lifts so close and also being so close to all the activities on Elk Ave.

Adorable home!

This was the cutest remodel! The details were amazing. Fully stocked kitchen and so close to downtown, the bus, grocery store, and skiing. We will definitely rent this house again!

Love this house!

We really loved this house: from the nice beds, amazing tub, in-wall speakers, games, and books for our kiddos! We also loved walking to the main strip--our 3 year old even walked the whole way and back! Monica was really easy to communicate with and the house is everything it promised to be. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

Wedding Base Camp

In town for a son's destination wedding, with family and guests spread throughout the town, this well appointed house provided a great location. Its central location with a short walk to downtown was great!

Beautiful home and amazing location

Monica's home was absolutely perfect for our family trip to Crested Butte, we could not be more happy with our stay here. The home is steps away from downtown CB, but still quiet at night and in the mornings. The home had everything we needed for cooking and grilling and we loved using the fire pit in the evenings. Monica was a great host and left all the information we needed for a seamless stay. We would 100% stay here again!
