Mt. Crested Butte first-floor condo - Pool & Hot Tub - Walk or bus to ski base

Conveniently located in the Chateaux Condominium complex, this completely remodeled, first-floor condo offers 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Condo has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Mount Crested Butte, including amazing views of the Butte right off the deck. Ski base is a short 5 min walk from the condo or via a frequent bus. Town is accessible via the bus system - thus you never need to drive, even after a late night in town. After a long day of skiing or bike riding, relax in the condo's hot tub, heated pool and sauna, soaking in the amazing views of the Butte! Two of the bedrooms offer king beds while the third has two double beds - perfect for two families to share the condo! All bathrooms are heated, two have heated floors. Condo was completely remodeled in 2023 with all brand-new furniture and Casper mattresses. Whisk yourself away to paradise and the vacation of a lifetime as the Crested Butte area offers endless opportunities including skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, golfing, rafting, paddle boarding, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, horseback riding, tennis/pickleball and so much more. Summers offer wildflower week in July, farmers markets on Sundays and weekly free concerts at the base and in town. Check Crested Buttes event calendar for all the great activities. You simply will not have enough time to enjoy it all! Not to mention, the town which offers so many great restaurants, shops and breathtaking charm - After all, this is the last great Colorado ski town!

Condo allows 2 parking spaces. All vehicles must place parking placards on dash. Failure to return parking placard to condo results in $100 fine / placard.

Pool/Hot tub/Sauna is accessible via gated key access. Loss of gate key results in $100 fine

Condo is only permitted for up to 8 guests, no more.

The kitchen and pantry were full stocked! The condo is furnished very nicely and was great for our family of 6. Very short walk to the slopes, making it easy for skiers and no skiers to get to the slopes & ski village. Bring lots of quarters if you plan to do laundry, the washer and dryer are on the second floor and are communal.

Great condo! We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and updated nicely. I appreciated the quality of the bedding and the stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed to cook meals. The condo was close to hiking and still not far from downtown for shopping and great restaurants.

We Had A Great Stay

The condo was very comfortable, well-organized, very well stocked with kitchen equipment, etc. It even had great beach towels for the pool. It has obviously been recently renovated and is very nicely decorated. The location is great, right on the shuttle bus route. We were there in the summer, but I would highly recommend it for a stay any time of the year.

Jayson was very prompt in answering all my questions and we were able to check in early. There were 3 couples staying at the condo and it worked out perfectly with 3 bedrooms and an attached bathroom to all three bedrooms. We used the kitchen a lot for meals and it was fully stocked with appliances and kitchen utensils. The free town shuttle picked you up at the pool area which was approximately 200’ feet from the front door of the condo. If I am ever in Crested Butte I would definitely look at staying in this condo again.

Great Residence!

Our stay was fantastic with easy check-in, great host, and easy access to the ski base. We've stayed in many condos in CB, and this has been our favorite. The interior finishes, appliances, and cleanliness stood out above all other places we've stayed that are in the same price range. There's a great view, and being close to the station allows for skiers and non-skiers to get around town easily. Highly recommend staying here and we plan on returning.

We rented this condo right next door to another one we stayed in, and once again, what an incredible experience! Just like the first, this condo was beautifully maintained and stocked with absolutely everything we could need. The attention to detail was impressive! One of the best VRBO rentals we’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot!).The beds were super comfortable, the linens were fresh and high quality, and the view was simply spectacular. The location is unbeatable, being close to everything yet quiet and relaxing.This stay was seamless from start to finish. We didn’t have a single issue the entire time! I’m so happy we chose to stay here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Crested Butte!

Cozy Condo with Great Views!

Very nice 3 bedroom condo with a private bath in each room. The views from the back patio were amazing. Easy access to trails, the resort, and downtown. You can tell this home has been well taken care of. We'll definitely stay here again!

Great access

Host was very responsive to questions and the check in was super easy. Place was great for a group of adult couples as each room had its own bathroom. The walk to the mountain was an easy 5 min walk and there was an option to take a bus too. Would definitely stay here again!

Chateaux - Crested Butte Mountain

This place was perfect for our family of five, I cluding 3 over 21 yo kids. The walk to the base was just as easy as described. The home was furnished with everything you could need! Absolutely loved it and will look for this one again! Owner responded quickly to my questions about check in and using the high tech coffee pot!Truly a great mountain condo.

Fabulous Accommodations - Highly Recommended !

We had a wonderful stay in this newly remodeled and smartly designed "away" home. We really loved being on the first floor and not dealing with waiting for the elevator or stairs. We loved how clean the building was as well as the hot tub. The location was ideal for us, and we will definitely stay here again.

GREAT Condo!

Great condo, so nice and comfortable! Everything in the condo is new and clean, and love that each bedroom has its own full bath. Outdoor area has a great view and comfortable seating. Perfect location to the mountain and town. Fished, hiked, and celebrated July 4th at local parade. CBCO is a neat place!

Successful annual boys trip

This is the first time we branched out from our usual time share in park city. Let me tell you, we are all glad we did. Jayson’s property was absolutely perfect in every way: walking distance to the mountain, fireplace with free wood, hot tub and pool, heated bathroom floors, and every brand new kitchen appliance you could ask for. We will definitely e coming back. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay at this condo! It had everything we needed, from shampoo to pool towels, and was well equipped with fans and humidifiers. The tasteful Mountain Crested Butte decor added a charming touch. The beds were very comfortable, and having three suites was a huge plus for our group. The hot tub was perfectly hot, the condo was spotless, and the host was incredibly responsive. The location was also excellent, within walking distance to a coffee shop and the ski resort area. Our party of eight had a wonderful time and will definitely look this place up if we're back in town!

Great Ski Stay

We spent a week in this condo skiing over New Years and it was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 teens. Although the building is older, this condo has been recently renovated and was finished very nicely. The kitchen was one of the most well equipped we’ve ever experienced at a VRBO, and the owners have thought of many ways to make the stay comfortable including nice towels, comfortable beds, ample power/charging outlets, lots of hooks for coats/towels/etc, usable storage in the bedrooms, and more. The condo is on th bus line to the base area but we usually walked, and it was only about a 6-8 minute walk even in ski boots. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. We would stay again!

Can't Imagine Better

We were a group of 3 couples, one of which included 2 young children. We had enough space that the 8 of us could all hang out comfortably in the common space, and have plenty of privacy in the 3 bedrooms. The bathrooms adjoined to each made it super easy! When I asked one for their favorite amenity, they declared the heated bathroom floor sealed the deal on loving this place. The kitchen is also well-stocked if you plan on cooking much, and having more than the basics in the pantry was Awesome! Everything was easy to find, and it was nice to have towels for the Jacuzzi/pool, too! Finally, walking to the resort and lifts was super close and convenient for carrying gear over. We were confused the 1st day, but then very happy not to have to pay for parking right across the street. Finally, the owner is great! We had a question prior to check-in and he was helpful, and even hooked us up to get in the room early to accommodate our arrival. Overall, I'd 100% stay here again and recommend it to friends without hesitation!

Nicely Updated & Perfect Location!

We have rented probably over 20 places in Crested Butte over the past 10 years and this spot ranks near the top for sure! My family and friends really enjoyed staying at the Chateaux condo. We love the location as the free town shuttle stops just outside where we could hop on with our skis and ride 2 minutes to the base or into town. It also only takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the base if you prefer. The Chateaux has one of the only pools in town making it nice for the kids and nice for the adults in the hot tub after skiing. The condo was nicely updated. Everything was new and tastefully done. There is plenty of space for two families to be comfortable at the dining table and bar and in the living room that has real fireplace stocked with wood. I liked the fact that it is on the first level facing the Butte. We didn't have to climb any stairs after a long day of skiing and the view from the patio was great. The condo was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The owner was great and responded right away when we had a question. We will definitely be staying here again! We already reserved another trip back.
