The town of Ramallah is a friendly Palestinian town known for its cosmopolitan lifestyle and restaurants, salted with regional politics. This open-floor-plan ground-floor apartment/condominium is the perfect place to spend your business, study or vacation trip.
Located in a quiet neighborhood away from the city bustle, you can park in a gated private car park, enjoy the evening in the garden, or relax inside in the air-conditioning.
Our Ramallah home is down the hill from the well-trafficked Zamn Cafe on al-Tireh Street and the Anglican School, and on the same street as neighborhood mosque, Masjid il Sahaba. Nearby sites include Mandela Square with its large statue of the South African president and the Yasser Arafat Museum, which provides an expertly curated view of the late Palestinian president's life and the Palestinian cause.
Ramallah's main shopping district is only a few miles away, and our favorite taxi can drive you anywhere you need to go in town. There is a small grocery for staples one block away, and a larger supermarket nearby.
Day trips to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Jericho and all other tourist destinations are accessible by shared taxi from the town center, although care should be taken to navigate checkpoints and various travel restrictions.
This two-bedroom, two-bath apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, office space, two living rooms and a dining room that seats eight. It is the enclosed ground floor in a small apartment building on a quiet, back street ideal for walks.
