Great place in the quiet mountain air. This place is exactly what a cabin should be . . . rustic, wood burning stove, outside deck to watch the deer walk by, quiet and serene surroundings make you feel like you are far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Yet there is a great grocery store and coffee shop just up the hiway.
Sweet cabin, great location, very helpful and responsive owner. We had a lovely time.
The cabin was perfect!
Had a wonderful weekend. The owner was incredibly helpful and our stay could not have been more delightful.
There is something about this home in the woods that takes you away from the hustle and bustle rapidly. Simon and Garfunkel said, "Slow down you move too fast. . ." This place is your chance to do just that. We did this on trails and in the lake and through the woods that have been mentioned by others. We add here that each place we've stayed in has its own feeling when you walk inside and get settled. For us, this place whispered, "Relax and enjoy serenity for a week." We did just that.
Spent Memorial Day Weekend in this lovely Arnold oasis. We hiked part of the Arnold Rim Trail, and loved that there is a trail head so close to the cabin. The cabin's kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed using the grill to make a couple of dinners. Enjoyed coffee on the deck each morning. Our dog was in heaven, and was reluctant to leave!
The cabin is 200 feet from the base of the Stanislaus National Forest, where there are over 20 miles of trails, on the newly established ART (Arnold Rim Trail).
