UNA CASA NUEVA
Alquiler perfecto de vacaciones / vacaciones en el estado de Washington por el propietario en este entorno frente al lago en Lake Morton, WA, cerca de la ciudad de Covington, Washington. Esta antigua casa de estilo rancho de la década de 1950 pasó por una transformación masiva en 2013. Diseñado por Matthew Coates Design y construido por Mehl Homes, ahora cuenta con una moderna sala de estar de arquitectura noroeste, comedor y cocina de ensueño con líneas simples, concepto abierto, pisos de madera restaurados originales y chimenea de leña, carpintería personalizada, techos altos, luces modernas y mucha luz natural y espectaculares vistas al lago.

BELLEZA FRENTE AL LAGO INIGUALABLE
Si bien la casa es especial, ¡el entorno natural del lago Morton y la propiedad pueden ser aún mejores! 100 pies de playa frente al lago y muelle y un gran patio ubicado en un acre de hermoso paisaje del noroeste, con vistas al monte. Más lluvioso La casa tiene dos habitaciones cómodas, tranquilas y oscuras (perfectas para un sueño profundo y relajante), una grande y otra de tamaño moderado.

ESCAPADA FINAL AL LAGO
Trae trabajo o déjalo todo atrás. Incluye TV de pantalla plana, cable, películas en DVD, CD de música y estéreo. Si tiene que consultar el correo electrónico o atender una llamada importante, puede hacerlo con WIFI gratuito y una buena cobertura de telefonía celular. Lo mejor de todo es que puedes hacer ambas cosas mientras estás sentado al final del muelle en el lago.

Lovely lake getaway

We had such a nice time at Lake Morton. The house was perfect- the kitchen is top notch!! And the space was great to just relax in. I felt right at home. And, the outdoor space is so nice- it feels like there’s a whole other house outside!! We had a great time on the water, and there are plenty of kayaks to use. And the water is not very cold- very swimmable. There are great views of Mt Rainier once you’re out on the lake. We also loved the road around the lake- where you can walk or run. All in all, it was just what we needed!

Beautiful and spacious house on Lake Morton

Jennifer‘s lake house, among beautiful gardens, is the perfect vacation spot with an amazing kitchen and awesome views from the wall of windows in the house and from the deck. The house is fully equipped with all you need to prepare meals and barbecue. There are even spices in the cupboards and condiments in the fridge. We really enjoyed our two week stay and Jennifer is the perfect host.

We went for a Thanksgiving trip and to spend a few days with our son who goes to college at UW. The house is even better than it looks online! Great views out on the lake, a great kitchen and a cozy living room with a large dining table. It had everything we needed, including a jacuzzi, which everyone loved. It rained quite a bit, but it didn't matter because the house was so nice and warm (no forced air, but radiators, which provide such a nice, cozy heat). The only small negative is a single bathroom, but it worked out ok for the 4 of us. Jennifer, the host, was great, super responsive. Great stay, we need to go back in the summer.

Beautiful lake house

We love this house because it’s a beautiful lakefront location, yet not far from groceries, restaurants, etc. The kids loved the big backyard, board games, stuffies, piano and water activities.

magnificent,classy,beautiful stay at this home, fun for families or a romantic get away.

Beautiful location, can’t say enough about this wonderful home. My family came together to celebrate our mom and wanted to honor her with a nice getaway on a lake, like when we were kids. This home was even more amazing then the pictures on VRBO , you just need to see it and how serene and peaceful it truly is. Even my 14 yr old fell in love with the lake and wanted to stay. Our family enjoyed fishing, canoeing, sitting in the jacuzzi at dawn and then swimming in the lake. The jacuzzi was perfect temp and super clean. We ended each night sitting by the outdoor fireplace. The kitchen is truly a chefs dream, we enjoyed my family baking a traditional German cake and loved honoring our father with a great BBQ. We will truly miss the cute ducks that came to the window and we gave them pieces of bread, they followed my son everywhere. The beds were really comfy and plenty of open spaces for relaxing indoor or outdoor. We enjoyed playing the piano with the deck doors open to the deck and looking out to the lake. We could of stayed here a month easily and felt truly rested when leaving. My family talks everyday about how perfect this place was and that it made our reason for getting together so wonderful with memories to last a life time. The tenant that shares the property in the attached guest house is super sweet and we invited her to join in on the BBQ but you really feel as if you have the whole property to yourself and she gives you your privacy.All I can say is thank you Jennifer for giving me this beautiful time with my family. We look forward to coming back just to hang out and experience this relaxing getaway again.

Felt right at home.

The property was more then we expected. Anything you might reach for is there. The kitchen is huge. There is even a grand piano. Good mattresses on the beds too. This lake is very tranquil, kayaks floating by, and friendly ducks greet you. Great dock with a slide for kids to enjoy.

Perfect getaway

Had a very comfortable stay. The house, with its spacious living room and kitchen area, was perfect for relaxing after a long day of site seeing. The front and back yards are beautiful and we'll maintained, as well as lake front and dock. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Great pandemic vacation

This property was a perfect place to vacation and get together with my grandkids during the pandemic. We were able to spend plenty of time outdoors enjoying the lake. We used every water toy and boat provided. The oldest liked the paddle board, the other 2 liked kayaking. My son and I enjoyed the canoe. On the cooler days we played ping pong, horseshoes, fished, and enjoyed cooking hotdogs and marshmallows at the outdoor fireplace. I highly recommend this property!

This place was so beautiful! We loved the mid century modern style of the home and picturesque yard on Lake Morton. It was clean and everything we needed was supplied. The owner was quick to respond via email and text. I hope to come stay again some day. I would highly recommend!

Great Location.

Owner was very accommodating. Early check in and lenient check out very appreciated. There was a small issue with sugar ants she found before out arrival but had addressed them with pest control. So had a few still roaming. We have rentals so know these things are sometimes not noted when you are not on property living yourself. She was very concerned and apologetic. I would rent here again. Lake front was awesome.

Fabulous Lakehouse for playing and relaxing

We just returned from our trip and Jennifer's place was wonderful. Even though it was cold outside, we all managed to go canoeing on the lake and it was perfect. Even my 15 yr old that doesn't like the outdoors, had a great time! The kids made s'mores in the firepit and played hide and seek for hours. I was able to enjoy my fill of coffee with the Keurig, tried Nespresso, got my fill of Christmas movies watching TV, enjoyed an evening fire in the fireplace (I live in Vegas and don't have a fireplace anymore), and the kids played a bunch of board games. Overall, a perfect vacation. The only thing to make it better would have been access to a washer/dryer onsite, but my brother in laws family lives less than 10 min away so it worked out. Would love to visit in the summer where we could make more use of the water toys. Thank you Jennifer!

Great location and the kitchen is amazing!!

This property is exactly as described and absolutely lovely. It was closer to the lake than I thought in would be and the house has really nice features such as an extra large kitchen with top of the line appliances and vaulted ceilings which gives it a very open feeling. The layout accommodated us very well and we had a wonderful Thanksgiving there. I would really like to rent this property again in the summer so we can kayak and canoe on the lake. Thanks for a great stay.

Lake Morton House

This was our first time staying here on Lake Morton and we had a wonderful time. The house comfortably fit our group and the kitchen was perfect for cooking several meals during our stay. The view of the lake is breathtaking and we loved having the firepit by the water. It is a beautiful house and a great place for a getaway. We will definitely be back to stay sometime soon!

We love the history of the property - the 'cabin' was the first building built on Lake Morton in the early 1950's. We love how the house is set back from the lake, taking advantage of lake views, providing privacy and a large yard. The original owner was President of the local gardening club so many interesting plants live on the property. Best of all is the lake - beautiful year round.

Given Jen's past in Seattle area and Brent being from Vancouver, BC originally, the home has served as a place for friends and family to congregate and share many a fun memorable time in this special place.
