The most amazing place

We had the most amazing holiday in the house. Everything was just perfect. We booked one of the chefs that the owner recommended, and it was very good. Dreaming of coming back!

Perfect place for a group visit to the Champagne region

We had a wonderful time, now twice already, staying with friends and their kids in this beautiful estate house in the Champagne region. Gorgeous property with pool, tennis court and garden, nice hikes around, and the whole Champagne region to discover by car. Most wonderful. The property is managed well and kindly. Fully recommend!

Visit to Monthurel

We spent a week here and I must say it is an amazing house for a large group. The property is superbly maintained, with bed linen and towels provided. The pool is heated and larger that the photos show which kept the kids busy all day. In the evening, the bbq and large outdoor table made for a relaxing dinner location is a beautiful setting. I couldn't recommend the property enough.

Amazing house, great atmosphere, friendly concierge

Don't look any further, just book this house. It's exactly as great as on the pictures. Nice atmosphere, eye for detail when it comes to decoration, a very very well equipped kitchen, hardcore tennis court, lovely pool so great value for money. It's at the "route du champagne" so you can start looking for some great bubbles and views over the wineries immediately. On top of that the great concierges that are super friendly and will help you with anything needed. Finally, important to me as well: a very reliable owner, who responded quickly to any questions I had and returned the guarantee deposit we transferred via credit card within a week. As I said; don't look any further, just book it!

Amazing place

The house was more than we expected. Every single room is beautifully restored and decorated to a very high standard. We were 13 people and loved the place very much. The garden is more like a park and the pool and the tennis court were highly appreciated. The kitchen was well equipped with a hugh gas stove- highly appreciated by our cooking crew. Unfortunately a tornado hit the valley very badly and the house got badly damaged. For the second night of the weekend, that we stayed at the house, there was no electricity. The very nice housekeeper helped us out with some candles and we had a lovely romantic dinner on the patio. We already booked the house again for our next year’s weekend in the champagne.

particulièrement réussie dans cette magnifique maison et cette superbe piscine particulièrement appréciée par ces chaleurs d'été. nous avons bien profité du tennis et de la salle de jeux pour les enfants. Les deux pièces principales de la maison étant grandes, nous avons pu y prendre des repas au frais, ce qui était indispensable, la maison étant plein Sud. Un grand merci à Armelle et son mari, qui ont su nous accueillir avec une très grande gentillesse. J'étais contente d'avoir trouvé cette maison pour l'occasion. Juste un petit bémol, il nous manquait une chambre (en travaux). Du coup nous avons dû coucher une invitée dans la grande salle de jeux.

Week-end inoubliable en famille

Magnifique maison et prestations. Un bonheur entre tennis, babyfoot, ping-pong et même piscine!!! Et le soir détente au coin du feu. Un grand merci à Armelle pour son attention à nos moindres besoins. Nous espérons revenir vite!

Magnifique maison

Nous avons passé de très agréables moments entre amis dans cette superbe maison . Nous avons profité au maximum de l’intérieur. La saison ne nous permettait pas de profiter des extérieurs qui pourtant mériteraient. Tout est parfaitement entretenu. Très bon accueil également.

Lovely place for a large birthday celebration

Beautiful property with space for family of 13 for my wife’s birthday celebration. The lady was very helpful, it was clean and very warm - underfloor heating was an unexpected surprise in an old historic property. Enjoyed playing tennis and table tennis, only an hour from Paris. Pool was closed unfortunately but otherwise a perfect stay

Prachtig landhuis waar je heerlijk kunt ontspannen met familie en vrienden.

Heerlijke week gehad. Jammer dat de vriendelijke gardien en zijn vrouw geen andere taal dan Frans spreken.

Didn't want to leave...

The grounds are beautiful, the château was comfortable, spacious and inviting, the pool was warm and refreshing. It was 15 minutes from Château Thierry which is a charming village with a fabulous crepery, cheese shop, bakeries and markets. It's about 35 minutes to Epernay and to Reims. Perfectly situated for champagne tasting. Armelle was a delightful caretaker. She and her husband were very helpful and kind. Our ten friends had a wonderful time.

Très belle propriété avec caractère dans un bel environnement

Grande maison avec de belles chambres ; superbe cuisine semi professionnelle ; localisation à l'écart des villes dans la campagne et les vignes de Champagne. Préparation et accueil par la gardienne excellents. Bons conseils des propriétaires.

Mooi huis in mooie omgeving

Het huis is perfect. Het is voorzien van alle gemakken en voor ieder wat wils. Zwembad, tennisbaan, tafeltennis, fijne eet en leefruimten en goede slaapplekken voor iedereen. Wij waren met een groep van 11 vrienden en hebben ervan genoten. Het huis, het mooie weer en de omgeving waren top. Het is alleen even wat lastiger om je verstaanbaar te maken als je zoals ons niet echt Frans spreekt. Maar uiteindelijk komt dat goed.

Fabulous Place

We really enjoyed our stay. It's perfect for a group of friends or family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The setting is beautiful and the house is charming. The kitchen is a chef's dream - equipped with everything you need and an amazing oven/stove. The on-site managers (lovely couple) were very helpful and friendly. It is not an easy walk to restaurants or a grocery store. The pool as was not super warm, but both of these notes were clearly indicated prior to our stay. There were no surprises. Highly recommended!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. La maison est grande et très confortable, parfaitement adaptée à un groupe d’amis pour cuisiner de grands repas et faire la fête. Terrain de tennis impeccable, très belle piscine (non chauffée malheureusement). La cuisine est bien équipée et le jardin magnifiquement entretenu. Mention spéciale pour la superbe vue sur les vignes et les champs alentours.

volledig uitgerust vakantieverblijf

Met 8 volwassenen, 3 kinderen en 3 honden hebben wij heerlijk genoten van een zonnige vakantieweek in de Champagne. Het zwembad en de tennisbaan zijn intensief gebruikt, en in de prima geoutilleerde keuken/barbecue konden wij goed uit de voeten om de heerlijkste maaltijden te maken. Prima bakker in de buurt, een grote Leclerc op 20 minuten rijden voor alle inkopen. We hebben alleen maar buiten geleefd. Persoonlijk vonden we de matrassen wat aan de harde kant. Ondanks het feit dat mijn vader tijdens deze vakantie ongelukkig ten val kwam en zijn heup brak, hebben we er met z'n allen toch nog wat van weten te maken, mede dankzij deze fijne plek.
