Gite at the crossroads of the Champagne region.

Located in a small, quiet village in the heart of the Champagne vineyards, we can accommodate 11 people plus 2 babies.
Ideally located in the countryside, surrounded by woods, lakes, and rivers, yet close to Epernay, Reims, Troyes, and Paris.
Come and recharge your batteries in the countryside and enjoy the magnificent scenery of our UNESCO-listed countryside. Visit the greatest Champagne houses such as Moet et Chandon and spend a pleasant time with our independent winemakers.
Take the opportunity to tour the châteaux of our region, visit Reims Cathedral, and more. And for shopping enthusiasts, we are less than an hour from the factory outlets in the famous city of Troyes or the Disney Village complex. We provide all the guides and maps you may need, and we will also share our favorites with you, not to be missed.

Champagne travels

We enjoyed staying in the gite. It is very well stocked, clean and the location can’t be beaten. You have to walk to pool, about 500m. But to be honest for the price it was worth it. Many thanks Kemp family

Property was clean and tidy. Although Christine was away she gave detailed instructions and advised that a friend would be coming to make sure that we were okay.

Explore Champagne

We had a good stay. House is large and fully equipped. There are no lounge chairs for the garden, but they are at the host's pool which is nearby. The area is lovely and quiet and a great base for exploring the Champagne region Christine is an excellent hostess

Very spacious house beautiful region

lovely and spacious house. it is situated in a very calm and quiet area. Christine was very nice and helpful. She gave us all information needed, also extra help to find a place to fix a flat tyre. We had a great time there. Hope we can return in summer time.

A big house with al nice view

It is a big house with a nice garden. It was clean and tidy. The ground floor is dated, the top floor has been modernized. It is a pity that the swimming pool is still quite far away in warm weather. The owner of the house is very friendly.

Outdated home in beautiful area

The home offers plenty of space for a (large) family. Host Monique was very pleasant at the welcome and goodbye. However the pictures with the pool (shared and at long distance from the home) are deceiving. Also interior and equipment are outdated with only a few chairs at the small terrace outside. Several items were too old or didn’t function. That’s a shame because the house and location have a lot of potential if renovated properly.

Great stay in the Champagne district

We had a wonderful time living in this house. Two families, 5 adults and 5 children, for ten days. Location is nice, right in the middle of the Champagne district, close to both major and minor Champagne houses in the area. The house is simple but has all the necessary amenities needed. The children much enjoyed the pool available aprox. 350 meters from the house (although not available every day during the visit). There are many different local markets nearby, though the closest supermarket is about half an hour away by car. Great, relaxing stay with lots of good food, wine and interesting culture.

Wonerful!

Thank you Christine and Didier for a wonderful stay at your lovely house! It was the right size for our party of 11 people. We used the BBQ most nights, had plenty of space and the use of the swimming pool was great for all of us, especially the kids! We had the best weather, went Champagne tasting, space for cars. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, theres a small village 2km away to get bread in the mornings. I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a big house & we would definitely stay again. Thank you again!

Nice House in a nice area

The house was nice with a large garden and off road parking. It is in a nice quiet area and has lovely views. The owners left the keys in a safe and a friend arrived to check things were ok. She also checked in a week later. The house is about an hour from Eurodisney and is ideal for touring the Champaign region and many historical sites also in easy reach. Electric car charging is about 15 km away but is about half the price of uk charging The swimming pool is at a different location in the village and was well kept and is suitable for young children. A very relaxing time was had by all.

Nice quiet area

Nice house with plenty of bedrooms and lovely gated/fenced garden ideal for letting the dogs run free. The pool is a few minutes walk away which is not a problem and is ideal when the sun is out, plenty of seating and loungers to relax on. It is great that the beds are made and there are towels supplied for the whole family. However the cleaning was not to a high standard, when you are charged an extra cleaning fee you expect the house to be pristine, the bathroom sinks were not clean, there was an empty tampon wrapper in the downstairs toilet and the kitchen worktops were sticky. If the cleanliness was as it should have been we would have scored higher

Family holiday

The holiday home was exactly was we were expecting, there was plenty of room for everyone, the pool is a walk away from the apartment, but the kids were ok with that, as we spent all day there. Communication with the owner was good and responded to us. we didn’t have any issues… it’s the perfect house if you have a big family. My family had an an amazing holiday and enjoyed staying here. Couple of comments 1. A little welcome pack would be good especially as the house is a good 20 mins drive from any shops and you can’t check in till 4pm 2. A fridge at the pool would be handy especially for the lunch if you plan to be up there all day. 3. As it was very hot it would be handy to have some fans as the rooms were uncomfortable. 4. Maybe some garden furniture would be handy to have available as we couldn’t really sit on the balcony.

La maison est parfaite pour une famille. Les chambres sont agréables et les lits confortables. Il y a ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner et prendre ses repas.Ce serait bien de prévoir une grande serviette pour la douche (elles étaient un peu petites).Maison au calme, très bien chauffée (facilité pour gérer le chauffage). Aucun problème pour se garer.Le contact avec Christine a été parfait (elle a été très disponible pour répondre à toutes nos questions). Merci pour le petit cadeau d’arrivée.Nous recommandons cette location.

Très bien. Vieille maison mais super propre et toute la machinerie marche bien. Pas de bruits dans les environs: très calme. On peut dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes.

Mooi verblijf!

Het verblijf is erg netjes en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt met kinderen en honden.Mooie locatie, grote tuin en ruime kamers.Het huis was wel erg gehorig dat is het enige nadeel met een groot gezelschap.

Séjour à Maroeil en Brie

Propriétaires très sympathiques, facilement accessibles et à l'écoute. Gîte parfaitement situé quand on cherche la tranquillité et des villes à une relative proximité. La piscine est à environ 500m du gîte et pas sur la propriété, mais cela n'a rien enlevé à ce séjour très sympathique. Les habitants du village et ses alentours (Orbais, Suizy-le-Franc) sont particulièrement accueillants.
