We enjoyed this rental and the location. The yard was a nice size. When we pulled up, there were 4 bucks with big racks in the yard to welcome us (until we got out of the car). It was a comfortable place to stay. So quiet and peaceful at night for a good sleep. Great restaurants near by and only a 10-15 minute drive to the DT area or to the beach. We also spent a day at Mackinac Island.

The house is much bigger than what the pictures projected, has everything you need (hosts thought of everything), views of the woods and field brought some wonderful sightings of wildlife including an owl. I would almost rate this property %100 perfect but we were unfortunate to arrive on a very hot week with no air-conditioning. This property is also close to the lake, shopping, restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

Great Price and Location

This is a surprisingly large cottage in the perfect location. Close to Castle Farms, and a great launch point for many other area activities. I highly recommend! It was clean, spacious, and the price was right. Would love to stay again!

Clean + great location

Quick trip north to fish Lake Charlevoix and this extremely clean and conveniently located house was a great option with its proximity to the Ironton launch. The exterior and interior was well maintained and well appointed with a full kitchen and towels/linens. Thank you for sharing your home!

Wedding Weekend

Can't say enough good things about Ironton cottage! Perfect place to stay for an event at Castle Farms. The host(s) thought of pretty much anything that you will need for your stay. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. This is by far the best property that we have stayed at. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location to Castle Farms!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our son got married at castle farms and it was the perfect location. This house is only 3 mins away on the same road. The host is great to communicate with and the house is very clean! The space is fantastic and the house sits back in the woods. Darling home. We would definitely stay again!

First BNB experience

This property was exactly as described. We especially appreciated the quietness while still being close to everything. The amenities were perfect. Everything was clean and neat. The cottage was so cute and cozy. We greatly appreciated the condiments in the fridge, as we forgot our ketchup and mustard.

PERFECT PLACE in a PEACEFUL SETTING!

This place exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed everything that we did. The cottage is spacious and very clean. The owners have thought of absolutely everything that you might need during your stay. It is so close to Castle Farms, which made getting to and from the wedding venue a piece of cake! Charlevoix and the surrounding area is simply beautiful.

The property was clean and exactly as the description stated. The owners were super easy to work with. We will stay again if our fishing league brings us to that area in the future.
