Un gite très chaleureux

Karine et Robert ont été extrêmement aimables. Monsieur Robert nous a accueillis avec une grande gentillesse. Leur gîte est parfait, on s'y sent vraiment comme chez soi. Le barbecue et la piscine ont été au rendez-vous, avec une eau chauffée à la perfection. Le terrain est magnifique, offrant un cadre splendide.N'hésitez pas a y séjourner les yeux fermés !! À très bientôt Monsieur Robert et Madame Karine ;)

Wir waren im Sommer dort. Es ist ein super netter Vermieter, der sich um alles kümmert. Insgesamt ist es etwas klein als man denkt, aber sehr gemütlich.

Idylle mit Pool

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Beuzeville. Das Haus liegt idyllisch, das ganze Grundstück inklusive Pool ist ein Traum. Karine war leider nicht da, aber Robert war ebenfalls ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber und hat uns sogar bei einem Arztbesuch geholfen. Vielen Dank nochmal 😊 Das Bad ist mit einigen tollen technischen Besonderheiten ausgestattet. Wer wie wir an eine Dusche gewöhnt ist, muss sich allerdings umstellen. Es gibt 'nur' eine Badewanne mit Duschbrause ohne Abtrennung. Unser Hund hat es geschafft, einen Weg aus dem abgetrennten Bereich unserer Gite zu finden. Aber zum Glück hat sie sich mit dem Hund des Hauses gut verstanden 😉 Wir sind begeistert von der Normandie und werden diesen Urlaub in bester Erinnerung behalten.

Fantastic holiday house

We had a wonderful holiday with our 2 boys of 10 and 12, they loved the pool! The house is very nice with a garden and is fenced so that's perfect with a dog. The garden with the pool belongs to the nice owners Robert et Karine, but it can be used as a private pool, it is very clean and big enough. Honfleur and Trouville are 25 min away by car, and very nice to visit (also the beaches). We had a lovely week and will come back for sure!

Excellent séjour au sein d'une oasis de verdure

Nous avons été accueilli très chaleureusement par le propriétaire. Tout était conforme à la description en ligne. La piscine était magnifique et chauffée. La maison est située en pleine nature. Se réveiller au son des gazouillis des oiseaux a été un réel enchantement. La région alentours est superbe et nous ne connaissions pays le charme bucolique de l'arrière pays Normand. Nous avons pu profiter des nombreux chemins de randonnées dont certains passent devant la propriété. Honfleur et les autres stations balnéaires de la régions sont très accessibles (en tout cas en juin). Le propriétaire est charmant, très prévenant et à l'écout

We had an amazing restful holiday in a beautiful secluded location in a lovely gite

My wife and I and Murphy the dog had an amazing restful holiday in a very secluded gite, in beautiful grounds in a picture postcard gite with all the amenities we needed for a lovely holiday. The owners were very charming and made us very welcome and provided us with a dream holiday.

Beautiful surroundings & a great host

Excellent gite in a beautiful part of France with good links to Normandy & beyond. Lovely property owned by Robert & Karine who work tirelessly to make your stay relaxed including home made gifts & nice gestures such as ice creams on a hot day & the lovely gizmo who lives up to the billing of being “greedy but charming nonetheless “ Property is what it says on the tin & whilst not perfect (lack of kitchen worktop but that’s being picky) is a great place to spend your R&R. A shower in the bathroom wouldn’t go amiss but apart from that would definitely go again

Beautiful Spot and Lovely Hosts

The property is just as it looks in the photo's, lovely, clean and cute. The hosts were a delight as was their little dog Gismo. Upon arrival Karine gave us a couple of slices of home made Apple Tart, which was a really lovely touch. However Gismo is the true star of the family! Super cute little dog. The location was perfect. I was able to combine my morning run with a trip to the Boulangerie for the daily baguette yet far enough out of town for it to be nice and quiet. Sadly the weather was not on our side and we didn't really get to use the pool however the house was more than comfortable enough to spend lots of time lying around indoors without getting under each other feet. We have a large German Shepard and the garden for the property was more than large enough to give him plenty of room to play and stretch his legs. We would defiantly recommend this gorgeous cottage and lovely hosts.

Beautiful!

We stayed here for a week this August and are a family of 5 with 3 children. Cottage was lovely v clean and beautifully decorated with everything that you needed. Robert and Kairine were wonderful hosts making us feel v relaxed and welcome. The pool is great, heated to a perfect temperature thoroughly enjoyed by us all. The cottage location was perfect near to beuzeville where you could walk in the morning for croissants and bread and also near to the inter marche. The kids adored Guismo the dog! We visited Honfleur which is lovely. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Ein sehr ruhiger und angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir (Ehepaar mit 9jähriger Tochter) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns im Haus und auf dem Grundstück sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war herrlich, das Haus gemütlich (mit 7 Personen wäre es allerdings extrem eng). Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist strategisch günstig, um sowohl ans Meer zu fahren als auch andere Ausflüge in der Normandie zu unternehmen (Rouen, Caen etc.). Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Wonderful place in beautiful surroundings

Very charming house in quiet surroundings with a beautiful garden and big pool with both a low and deep end which was perfect for our kids aged 6, 12 and 14. No shower but the kids loved the ligths in the tub and had a party. Nice beds in a clean house even though the kitchen was very small but we made it work. Robert was very kind and helpful and we enjoyed the company of Gizmo the dog. Nearby Beuzeville had it all, fine supermarket, several nice boulangeries, butcher etc. A great location for exploring Normandy.

Lovely property in a great location

Our family of four have just spent two lovely weeks at this property. Despite it saying it's a communal pool (shared with the owners) we had it to ourselves for the entire time, which was great if you're looking for a complete 'get away' from it all! The property had some lovely features - a Tassimo machine, nice beds and comfortable sofas but the bathroom stole the show - the kids loved having a bath with lights and music! Beuzeville is also very lovely - it's a nice, short walk into town and the boulangerie/patisserie at the top of the road is amazing! There are a couple of places to eat and 2 supermarkets so not as remote as other places we have stayed. The only things the property lacked which would have been useful are storage space (for food and in the main bedroom) and a shower. However we made it work and it didn't really detract from a lovely holiday. We would come again!

Perfect

We sought peace & solitude to recover from an emotional family event. This property delivered in spades. Robert and Karine were perfect hosts, kind, friendly, helpful and discrete. Having the gardens and pool to ourselves was a delight and enabled us to chat, read or rest as we chose. Truly a restorative holiday. We couldn't be more thankful.

had a great weeks stay with robert and karine

on arrival found Robert and karine very welcoming, polite, friendly and very helpful owners who even accommodated us on our early arrive. The gite was well furnished clean and tidy and plenty of room to accommodate two families. although you are on the owners property you still maintain your own privacy with a small well kept garden and patio area with own BBQ and seating area. the swimming pool was cleaned everyday and in a well maintain area which must take a lot of time as the gardens are beautifully well kept this include the woodland and the pathways through the forest and around the gardens. Robert, Karine (gizmo the dog and fripon the cat) could not do enough for you we socialised with Robert and karine on a couple occasions and we enjoyed there company that much we intent to book this again for some time next year 2017. we would like to say a massive thank you Robert and karine for a making our stay a memorable one which we wont forget in a hurry see you next year 2017. Clean, tidy and relaxing

Whilst directions were not totally obvious, once found, we arrived at a little oasis. Robert and Karine were excellent hosts and we were well looked after. Robert was engaging, good humoured and very helpful. Being multi-lingual was also a huge help. The cottage was comfortable, clean and private. The kitchen was limited, but served it's purpose. If you want a place to unwind then here it is. We spent most days by the pool, as the French were all on holiday in the nearby holiday destinations of Deauville and the local coastline. The pool was a good size and deep, so the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our hosts were mainly absent for the whole holiday, which suited us. Their friendly King Charles spaniel however made up for their absence!! If you are sun bathing, the sun loungers have only wooden seats, so take a cushion or two. Whilst hot in the day, the evenings were surprisingly cool. Beuzeville is charming and offers plenty of amenities. As a destination, then ideal as there is plenty to do locally and only 3 hours drive from Calais.

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

We stayed at the cottage for 10 days from late August. We arrived late in the afternoon quite tired and hungry after driving from Calais and were met by Karine and Robert who very kindly brought us some food for dinner which we did not expect at all. The cottage itself was like home from home for us and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Everything was impeccably clean in the cottage and there were some great features such as the musical bath, availability of a barbecue and of course the beautiful pool. The cottage is well located for exploring Normandy being only 15 minutes from Honfleur and an hour or so from Rouen and the D Day beaches. Throughout the stay Karine and Robert made us feel extremely welcome and we are definitely looking to go back in the near future.
