New Year Relaxation!

This cozy coastal house is tucked away on a quiet point and offers great views of Seneca Lake. Watch the sunrise on one of two covered decks in the morning or the reflection of the moon to top off the day! No need to pack a bag to get to the water, as the house has its own lakefront! You can even enjoy a train (or two) go by every so often! Always something fun for the kids to see! The house is set away from the tracks so the watching can be done safely! Great spot to "unplug" from everyday events going on.

Whether you’re looking for a romantic get away, family outing, relaxation, or celebration with several friends, Sunrise on Angus fits your needs!

Yes the lake view was absolutely beautiful, but it would have been nice if we could have used the deck! We enjoyed the Vineyards and the place was very clean. Also the host was very nice and helpful. The only thing we were pleased with is we had to supply our own toilet paper. Each bathroom only had a half a roll.

This was a great stay. You don't think there's going to be much to the house when you pull into the driveway, but once inside it's absolutely fantastic. Literally right on the water. Sunrises and morning sun are amazing. Large, open floor plan main floor with living room, dining room and kitchen. One bedroom with main bath on that floor, as well. The living room is large, with a very large sectional sofa that would allow everyone staying in the house to gather together to watch movies or play games if wanted. Great TV, and great Wi-Fi for streaming and internet connectivity. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking and dining you want to do at home (we always have breakfast in, and usually about a half our dinners in). Downstairs is another fully furnished living area with a separate bedroom, bunk beds and another full bathroom. Decks facing the lake on both levels for as much outdoor time as your schedule and the weather will allow. We didn't have time to get in the water, but this house easily allows for that on a longer stay. Emily was great to work with... communication was thorough and clear, and very responsive when we had questions. We will look to stay here again on future trips to Seneca Lake.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay — the property offered gorgeous views and the host was easy to communicate with. The home itself was comfortable and perfect what we needed for the weekend. The only downside was that a few areas inside and outside could have been a bit cleaner (for example, we found a cigarette butt on an outdoor seat, and our group doesn’t smoke). Otherwise, it was a lovely experience, and we recommend others to visit!

this is our second time staying at the property. Emily has been a great host each time. Close to the water and with the two floors, there’s enough room for families to stay together, but be a little separate as well.

Fantastic house! Fantastic location! I can’t put into words how great this house is. Right on the lake. Perfect for sunrise. It has a composite wood deck so no kids getting splinters in their feet. The lake is so clear. They aren’t kidding about the muscles in the water, bring your water shoes or tevas for swimming. Can’t wait to come back.

Family, fun, and water indeed! The location was low-key and relaxing-exactly what we had hoped for. Being right on the water gave us plenty of opportunities to connect with the lake, whether we were out enjoying the provided water sports or simply unwinding with a glass of wine on the deck.We truly enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to return.The only minor hiccups during our stay were that the insect traps indoors were already full and no longer functioning, and the filtered water bottles-particularly useful for morning coffee-had been used up with no replacements available.

Great house and location

We had a wonderful time at the house, perfect location, right on the water. It was close to wineries, right across the street from one, and close to stores and a short drive to Watkins Glen. The house was clean and well maintained, the beds were comfortable and a well stocked kitchen made the stay very enjoyable!!

Great lake house

We had a fabulous time staying at this vrbo. It’s centrally located to all the wineries, and it’s very spacious! Lots of patio space which was ideal for relaxing and enjoying the view of the beautiful Seneca lake! All in all, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay that’s directly on the lake!

Perfect Get Away

The four of us very much enjoyed staying here and are already talking about going back! Great location. Loved the sunrises. Lots of room for relaxing, plus the beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the hiking, wineries and breweries. Also enjoyed going to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge. Fox Run winery was a favorite.

I grew up in Western, NY but currently live in the DC area.

Why they chose this property

I have been going to Seneca Lake for as long as I can remember. Some of my most fond memories from my childhood started here. Such memories include the discovery of my allergy to bees (not so fond) to learning water sports, fireworks on the lake, making friends with the neighbors kids, and having no worries on the water.

Angus Point has a lot of history for my family. In 1942, my great grandfather owned the whole point at one time. He eventually decided to sell pieces of it off but kept one piece. This one piece grew from a mobile home to an actual lake house and has never left the family. Along with this piece, I have extended family a stone’s throw away.

I am proud to have bought back another piece of land that was once in my family and excited for yours to create their own memories!
