Our beautifully designed two-story home was completely rebuilt in 2017, and the private, lower-level unit—yours to enjoy—offers a perfect escape.

Location, Location, Location:

Perched on a peaceful bluff in Pacific Beach, adjacent to La Jolla, just 1.2 miles from the beach!

No traffic headaches here—simply enjoy serene coastal living with quick access to the ocean.

Spacious, Private & Fully Equipped: The unit includes a private entrance, two inviting bedrooms, a full bath, washer/dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, and a comfortable living room. Ideal for up to six guests, with two beds and a queen sleeper sofa.

Outdoor Living Like No Other: Three outdoor areas offer unobstructed, 180° views stretching from downtown San Diego to La Jolla.

Enjoy:

Deck 1: A dining area for six, two chaise lounges, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor heater.

Deck 2: A luxurious spa with jaw-dropping views.

Deck 3: A covered extension of the living room, perfect for relaxing in the shade.

All outdoor areas are 420-friendly (no indoor smoking, please).

Top-Notch Amenities: Three HD TVs with DirecTV in every room, plus heating and air conditioning for your comfort. Just grab groceries and your toothbrush—everything else is ready and waiting for you!

Peace & Privacy with Coastal Bliss: This is one of Pacific Beach’s finest rentals, offering unmatched whitewater views and a tranquil location just far enough from the bustling boardwalk.

Easy Parking: Ample street parking is available (please reserve the driveway for me, as I live upstairs and drive an EV).

Please note: We also rent the upstairs portion of the home, which is completely private and locked off from downstairs. Upstairs has its own private gated entrance at the street, and private entry door. When tenants are in residence upstairs, we do not rent the downstairs unit and vise versa -- if the downstairs is rented, we do not rent the upstairs unit. But, this is my primary residence, so, often, when there are guests downstairs, I am living upstairs. When I have guests downstairs, you have private use of the patio, deck, BBQ and spa -- and my goal is to provide you with complete privacy during your stay.

ALSO: This is not a party house. If you are planning on coming to Pacific Beach and partying into the wee hours of the morning, please look elsewhere. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and my neighbors are not shy about complaining when guests are partying after hours.

Host was fast to reply with all questions leading in to the trip and the house was exactly as described. The hot tub, outside area, and view are just as wonderful as described!! It's not too good to be true - it's real! Ha! It was clean, organized, and a perfect landing spot for us. Parking was absolutely no problem as there are tons of easy street spots. Comfortable beds too! It's a quiet residential area and the stars and peace at night is so great. I'd definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful home! We had the best time in San Diego and so much of it was because of how comfortable and spoiled we were at this house. Gorgeous views, great hot tub, comfortable beds and very private. We loved the outdoor spaces and made use of the propane heater, fire table, grill and hot tub at different times of our stay. We also didn't realize how big of a deal that the ample street parking that's on this street was until we drove through the rest of San Diego. We got to park directly in front of the house all week - not gonna happen at most homes in town. We'd love to come back!

Lovely hillside retreat

Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We enjoyed the expansive deck, hot tub, and comfortable beds. Denise has thoughtfully stocked the house with little things that made the stay even more enjoyable. The neighborhood is lovely and there are many delicious Pacific Beach coffee shops and restaurants within 1 to 2 miles.
